THE CHARITY MAINTAINS THE FRESHFORD VILLAGE MEMORIAL HALL, WITH ITS ADJACENT RECREATION FIELD AND PLAYGROUND, AND LETS IT OUT PRIMARILY FOR USE BY A WIDE VARIETY OF LOCAL CLUBS AND GROUPS, FRESHFORD PRE-SCHOOL, FRESHFORD PRIMARY SCHOOL AND ALSO FOR GENERAL HIRE FOR PARTIES, FUNCTIONS, WEDDINGS, AND BROWNIE CAMPS.

We provide pre-school education for 2-5yr old children. We support the children and their families by offering flexible childcare provision, whilst maintaining reasonable rates.

THE CHARITY PROVIDES PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION, CARE AND PLAY IN A SAFE AND STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT. WE ENCOURAGE THE CHILDREN TO HAVE FUN AND LEARN WHILE PLAYING SAFELY. WE RESPECT AND RECOGNISE EVERY CHILD AS AN INDIVIDUAL REGARDLESS OF GENDER, CULTURAL BACKGROUND OR ABILITY, WE AIM TO GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.WE CATER FOR CHILDEN FROM 2 YEARS OLD UP TO SCHOOL AGE.

We follow EYFS guidelines. We offer a stimulating, warm, caring and loving environment, safeguarding the well being of each individual child.

Our Family Support Team address the lack of provisions for families with children under 5 in Alton and East Hampshire in crisis situations, or in need of support to improve their child's quality of life and life chances. We do this through outreach work, targeted groups and one-to-one support.

Queensgate Pre-School offer educational provision for pre-school aged children.

The charity carries out fund raising events to run and maintain a Village Hall for the benefit of the local community. These include social events i.e. Quiz Nights, Children's events, Music Concerts, Bingo, etc., and larger events e.g. Rock Show, Wedding Fayres, Christmas Fayre etc. It's also hired out for a number of activities e.g. Bridge, Yoga, Toddlers Play, Choir, Yoga, private functions etc.

We provide a venue for a full range of village and local / leisure activities including but not limited to; badminton, zumba, , stage plays, annual pantomime, horticultural events, parish council meetings, nursery school, dance class, wedding receptions and parties for all ages etc. We also act as the Polling Station for Local and National elections.

Provide a safe, secure, stimulating environment for children. Enhance development of children below school age in a parent-involving, community based group. Ensure equality of opportunity for all Provide experienced staff to care for children during their time at Pre-School. Encourage fun and friendship with children and adults. Welsh Medium PreSchool with 3 plus funded places.Cylch Rhaeadr delivers foundation phase education for children between the ages of 2 and 4.

Cylch Meithrin Glyn Ceiriog operates a pre-school setting and After School Club provision for the benefit of the Ceiriog Valley.

We believe that a child has the best start to their early years education in an environment where they are happy, cared for and their individual contribution is valued by all. We offer Early Years Foundation Stage to children from 3-5 years at morning sessions and children of 2 1/2-3 in two afternoon sessions.

Rillington Pre-School meets Monday to Friday - 9am till 3pm - with a lunch club at Rillington Village Hall.The pre-school aims to provide the highest standards of education for children between the ages of two and five years.

Forest Gate Church is an independent evangelical Christian church based in the Forest of Dean and affiliated to the Evangelical Alliance. We provide a variety of support and information to families and professionals after a child's death. We research information required by bereaved families or professionals and signpost to suitable support. We work directly with professionals to improve care and ensure awareness of bereaved parents' needs. We run playgroups for bereaved families and by referral provide small financial grants.

Holy Trinity Pre-School exists to provide affordable childcare and education for parents and carers in the local community. To this end we provide ten sessions of childcare each day, and involve parents and the local community in our management, decision-making and fund-raising efforts.

Village Foundations is currently working in Mwanyama Village, Nkhudzi Bay, Malawi. It is in the process of setting up a health post with a view to developing into a fully blown clinic for under 5's and their mothers. The Charity is currently offering support/services in pneumonia, HIV & Malaria Treatment, ante/post natal checks, family planning support and education & cervical cancer screening.

Hartlepool Baby Bank provides good quality new and used equipment to families with young children or pregnant women across Hartlepool and the surrounding area.We aim to provide maternity items, clothing, safe sleeping spaces and hygiene products whilst offering support, advice and signposting.
