Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empoweringthem to make a positive contribution to society. Selby District Scouts provides activities directly to young people aged 14-25, and supports Scout Groups and volunteers across the wider Selby area who work directly with young people aged between 4 and 14 years old.

The pre-school is provides a small, nuturing atmosophere for rural children who live in a relatively isolated area.It is run by a team of four enthusiastic staff, who live locally, come from rural backgrounds and provide the children with a highly stimulating, fun and caring educational enviroment. The pre-school is managed by a commitee of local parents and operates out of the village hall.

We are the recognised Parent Carer Forum for North Yorkshire, supporting families with children and young people (0-25 years old) with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). Our vision is to inform, empower and represent the collective voice of families with SEND in the region.

Brand new (2019) large village hall with stage and car parking run by group of volunteers. The village pre-school, a senior activity group, local am drams and various evening clubs such as Martial Arts, Brownies, model helicopter and race car clubs use the hall. Also used for parties, weddings, charity fund raising events. Income to cover running costs derived from letting fees/fund raising.

Patchway Community Centre provides a safe and welcoming place for the local and surrounding communities to meet, we have over 25 regular groups consisting of Martial Arts, Luncheon clubs for the over 55's , Pre school and Tots , Mother and toddler group, AA, Senior Citizens, Zumba Classes, Ballroom, Latin and Sequence dancing, P.H.A.B and many more.

The pre-school continues to provide excellent pre-school education to the under 5's in the village and surrounding areas. We offer sessions on a daily basis with full day sessions being available 5 days a week. We offer 2 year old funding places and 3 and 4 year olds and we provide the 30hrs places. Fundraising is maintained and still is continuing success.

Plymstock Chapel holds Church services to provide opportunities for anyone to worship, fellowship and receive teaching about the Christian faith. In addition various small groups are run for the same purpose. We also provide parent and toddler sessions and activities for young people. We are involved in schools work, pastoral support and we support other charities.

To provide a Pre-School service to those living in the village of Manea and the surrounding area.

The focus of our daily activities is to introduce education and play through the medium of welsh to local pre-school children. This benefits these children by developing their self-confidence and social skills. We welcome all children pre-school age between 2 and 4 years regardless of personal background, faith or gender.

Dunelm Grove pre-school in West Norwood, provides a safe and fun, family feel environment for education, play and socialisation, to enhance the development of children between 2 and 5 years old. We support our community and enjoy diversity of culture, languages and welcome those with special needs.

JABADAO works in partnership with education, health and social care sectors to create opportunities for young children and their adults to get involved in playful physical activities that promote learning, health and wellbeing.

Fundraising activities include but not exhausted to yearly pub quiz, termly bake sales and collections during plays, dressing up days by the children, photos and Christmas cards.
