The aims of the charity (Egerton Pre-School (Kent)) are to enhance the development and education of children primarily under statutory school age, by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children by offering appropriate play, education and care facilities, for all children whatever race, culture, religion, means or ability.

We offer high quality childcare for children between 2-5 years at The Lantern Centre in Ilfracombe, N. Devon. We adhere to Ofsted guidance and follow the early years curriculum, giving each child the opportunity to learn and develop as an individual. We provide a safe ,fun environment both indoors and outside.

The 5th Christchurch (Highcliffe) Scout Group provides Scouting to young people aged between 4 and 14 years of age. Activities takes place from the headquarters in Chewton Common Road Highcliffe. Young people take part in activities based on the section they belong to and their age. The sections within the Group are Squirrel Dray, Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop.

Pre-school, After School Club, Children's Holiday Camp, various keep fit classes for ages ranging from birth to 80 years of age such as Yoga, Over 60's keep fit, gardening club, quiz nights, parent and toddler group

The Jubilee Hall provides a venue for local clubs and associations of various sorts, sporting and recreational, catering for all ages from the toddlers to older members of clubs such as the bowls club. The facilities enable the hall to be used for special events, fundraisers, annual dinners for local groups, wedding receptions and so on.

Childcare and education

The charity runs a kindergarten for children aged 2 1/2 to 6 years. We use the ideas of Steiner Waldorf education, with the seasonal cycle and festivals providing the framework for creative activities and free play. The charity also runs parent and child groups for younger children. The charity also promotes our educational ideas to adults through talks and activities.

The Association Maintains and runs the Horn Park Community Centre as a venue in pursuit of the Associations' objects.The premises are let for such community groups and there is a full time nursery using the premises.

We are a Day care nursery setting providing educational learning, play facilities and care during term times for children aged from 30 months old based in the grounds of the local primary school.

The management committee are responsible for the running of a community centre. The centre is used by groups for various activities e.g Playgroup. The building is also used for weddings and parties. The committee also fundraise by holding dances, table top sales and bingo.

The village hall is used on several days of the week. The user groups include toddler group, occasional use by the local school, art classes and fitness classes, historical society, gardening club, church youth group and community library.The hall offers excellent facilities for meetings, lectures, receptions, exhibitions, coffee mornings, theatrical entertainments and dances.

We are a welsh medium playgroup that offers education and childcare for children from the age of two and a half.

The charity activities are there to benefit all people. Re: The advancement of religion (Christian) through charitable work through Christian based meetings. For example weekly family meetings (adult and children), youth club, childrens club. Parent and toddler group and support for disadvantaged and the elderly.

St David's Playgroup and Nursery Plus offers pre-school education to children aged 2 years - 4 years.

Provide holidays for disadvantaged Sheffield families (with children) who have been referred by a welfare agent eg social worker, health visitor, doctor, priest. Family not had a holiday for at least 4 years - be on a low income.

The charity exists to maintain and improve the physical and mental wellbeing of the residents of Pucklechurch and surrounding areas.
