To provide transport facilities in North Cumbria and the surrounding areas for people who have specialneed of such facilities because they are elderly, poor or disabled, people with young children or thoseliving in isolated areas where there are no adequate public transport facilities.

POPI is a Babybank service. We provide equipment for babies and children under 5 free of charge to families in need on a Referrals basis. Referrals can be made by professionals such as social workers and health visitors and support agencies such as Domestic Violence Support, Homestart and Refugee Support. Examples of items that we provide include prams, pushchairs, cots, clothing, toys, nappies.

The aim of Friends of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Primary and Nursery School is to enrich and enhance the education and school experience of pupils at Our Lady of Peace Primary School. We do this by organising events and activities which raise money to provide extra equipment and resources, while also building a sense of community and creating memories for the children of their time at school.

The object of the CIO is to advance the development and education of children under statutory school age within the area of the City of Bradford and its neighbourhood for the public benefit, by providing in particular but not exclusively, a support service to the managers, leaders, practitioners or volunteers working in non-domestic group settings for children under five years old.

We hold fundraising events to raise money to benefit the school children in both fun and educational activities.

Our aim is to provide a warm & friendly environment where children can spend quality time with their parents/carers. They can enjoy a varied programme of activities which promote the children's personal, social, emotional physical & intellectual development. We run three sessions a week for babies up to nursery school age children.

To offer the benefits of scouting to boys and girls aged 6-14 years

To relieve poverty among families with young children, principally aged 0 to 16, and pregnant women, in conditions of need, hardship or distress within the Wakefield district and surrounding areas, for the public benefit, but not exclusively, we do his by Providing essential clothing, equipment and other items for children aged 0-16 years, and pregnant women.

We aim to improve everyone's quality of life by fostering the community spirit and by bringing people together. The overall plan is to operate a programme of diverse events appealing to as wide a range of interests as possible, offer hirings, provide a home for the North Wraxall Playgroup (both pre-school and toddlers groups), and make modest grants to improve local amentities.

Activities currently taking place at the village hall are:- Nursery, Mums and Tots, Summer Play Schemes, over 50's Bowling Club, T'ai Chi, Tunies, Pilates, Social events eg. BBQ's, Discos, Parties etc. Dance and Ballet Classes, Cheer Leaders Group. Committees meeting place.

Provides a central community facility for recreational and other use, Also provides a small playing field complete with play equipment for use by young children.

Services every Sunday with occasional special services during week, and on special occasions. Prayer meetings. Bible studies. Fellowship groups. Occasional meals and suppers and coffee mornings. Now also providing a Lunch Club for the elderly in the village. Toddler group meet on Tuesday mornings, Yoga in the hall on Wednesday evenings and Band practice on Thursday evenings.

to provide a facility for the whole village population including playgroup, party venue, and other activities

Supporting nursery, primary and secondary schools and providing bursaries for secondary and tertiary education through our partners the Anglican Diocese of Northern Malawi and the Anglican Diocese of Southern Malawi.

EDUCATION, PRE-SCHOOL

We provide a Village Hall for the use of the local community for various activities. The Hall is currently used by many groups and individuals including karate classes, dog trainers, local and national charities, local wine circle, baby and toddler groups, dealers den markets. We also have family parties and celebrations at the Village Hall.

Providing a secure group of buildings in which young people can attend attend one or more of the following: pre-school group, gymnastics club, karate club, model railway club or dance school. Facilities are fully utilised 7 days a week, with over 400 young people regularly attending from the surrounding area.

We organise events for both adults and children throughout the school year to raise funds for the school. Examples of these events over the past year include a Family Treasure Hunt, Ladies Pamper Night, Quiz Night, Christmas Disco, Spring Disco and Summer Barbecue.

We are a playgroup for pre-school children, meeting three times a week at the local school. The group gives children the opportunity to socialise and learn through play.
