The charity works with children and young people in the area providing at least two themed workshops throughout the year for them to attend. Equipment is also bought for under an under five group that meets regularly. Where appropriate funding may be given to adults for training.

We provide a stay & play session for parents and their children up to school age in our local community hall. We have stories , crafts , games & snack during this session. New mothers can come along and have a chat and a cup of tea whilst older children socialize and make new friends.

We provide library access to toys and games and equipment for babies and young children, via a membership scheme. Made available to individuals and voluntary organisations mainly local to Newport (Shropshire) but individuals can be from surrounding areas.

Little Greenwich Books is an early years reading charity serving Greenwich and Bexley in south-east London. We collect, check, clean and re-distribute pre-loved books for babies and young children. We also create age-appropriate gift bags of new books, designed with care to help inspire a love of reading at the earliest possible age.

Grants given to individuals both young and old and also organisations such as pre-school. The condition is that it is only for people or organisations in Flamborough.

BUCKLAND BABY & TODDLER GROUP

Warm welcome to all visitors. We offer recreational & leisure time activities; Advice & support where possible; Laptops & WiFi access; Education/training support eg. Computers for Beginners; Standing Tall Support helping to make positive changes; Youth & toddler activities; Local partners eg. Councillors, Social prescribers, Tenancy officers & their clients; Support local foodbank & summer gala.

Our main objective is to raise funds through various activities to enhance the quality of the pupils time at school by providing extra equipment/trips/events when possible.

Fund raising in aid of Edale Rise Primary and Nursery School includes Winter and Summer Fairs and smaller activities throughout the year.

Arranges meetings for mothers and young children or babies in the area, and organises social events for adults and children, including raising money for charity.

Donations and purchase of equiptment for individual children who are mentally and physically handicapped and associated organisations/charities. In 2012 the charity paid for three older children from Bower Grove School to attend at residential holiday and landscaped a garden at Greenfields Childrens Centre with raised beds allowing the young children to plant and watch things grow.

Small grants are given to people in need who live in the Benefice of Badgeworth, Witcombe and Shurdington. These needs may arise through, for example, illness, accidents or sudden death of wage-earners in families. The Welfare Trust may give one-off grants to worthy causes for specific things such as equipment for young peoples' groups e.g. scouts, guides, cubs and playgroups.

PROVIDING DIETARY & ORAL HEALTH EDUCATION SESSIONS FOR CHILDREN AGED PRE-SCHOOL TO THE AGE OF 11. THE SESSIONS WILL COVER UNDERSTANDING THE IMPORTANCE OF GOOD DENTAL HEALTH; EDUCATING CHILDREN ON WHAT CAUSES TOOTH DECAY; ENCOURAGING DAILY DENTAL CARE. THE SESSIONS WILL USE A MIX OF GAMES, COLOURING SHEETS, LEARNING DENTAL HEALTH VOCABULARY, DISCUSSING FOODS AND CAUSES OF DENTAL DECAY.

Friends of Hounslow Portage (FOHP) aim to promote awareness of the Hounslow Portage Service and to cover additional expenses. Hounslow Portage Service offer ealy intervention for pre-school children with special needs and their families. A portage team of home visitors offers a carefully structured but flexible programme to help parents become effective teachers of their own children.

To enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through the community.

HOME-START STAFFORDSHIRE MOORLANDS IS A VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION COMMITTED TO PROMOTING THE WELFARE OF FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN. VOLUNTEERS OFFER REGULAR SUPPORT, FRIENDSHIP AND PRACTICAL HELP TO FAMILIES UNDER STRESS IN THEIR OWN HOMES AND/OR IN GROUP SITUATIONS, HELPING TO PREVENT FAMILY CRISIS AND BREAKDOWN.

We meet on Wednesday mornings at Long Bredy Village Hall in term-time. Children up to the age of 4 make new friends and enjoy playing with a large number of resources. Parents/carers have the opportunity to meet & chat.

Little Acorns Baby Charity supports individuals and families who are pregnant or have babies aged 0-2 years in Durham/Chester Le Street and surrounding areas. We aim to provide products needed for mothers after giving birth and essential baby consumables and clothing. We take referrals from a variety of professionals who are best placed to assess the needs of the family.
