PLAY GROUP UNDER FIVES

It is an educational project for young children of secondary school age on the Cape Verdean Island of Sao Vicente. Education is free only until age 14, so many able children have to leave school as their parents are unable to meet the costs for them to stay on. The trust raises money to enable children to continue education. Currently 16 students are being supported.

The Charity works with the village organisations and donates towards their needs where and when the Trustees agree it meets the charitable objectives. Recent donations include towards the village Preschool new printer (2020) and the pensioners Christmas lunch (2019).

Bilingual and Welsh playgroup, also providing daycare and holiday club

The Community Centre in Libanus closed 4 years ago. Presently the Community hall Trust meets in the local Chapel. The Chapel Members are currently looking at plans to alter the layout of the Chapel to allow Community Groups to make greater use of the premises.

MOTHER AND CHILD GROUP

The operation of a mother and toddler group for children under 4 years of age.

A weekly gathering of local parents/carers and their babies and pre- schoolers.An opportunity to socialise and play.

Provides extra financial support for the school in areas and activities outside normal Local Authority funding.

Parents & toddler club, fitness classes, classical Indian music. Welbeing groups. Neighbourhood watch meetings, childrens dance class

The charity is a PTA formed to support Little Rainbows Community Preschool CIC. Its objective is to support and enhance the education and experiences of the pupils by raising extra funds to facilitate this, and to involve the parents in decision making regarding this. This is achieved by holding fetes and quiz nights. It also helps to raise the preschool's profile.

Bibles books and clothing for young children

Small grants (·25) to village children leaving primary school. Small grants in response to requests from local primary school/nursery for educational items eg. hymn books.

Cylch Meithrin Trefynwy is a Welsh medium playgroup (Cylch Meithrin) that runs sessional care for children aged 2-4 years, serving the Monmouth and surrounding areas. The setting is a packaway provision where areas are set out daily that reflect the aims and principles of the Foundation Phase to support and encourage the children's learning and development.

We provide a weekly 2 hour session for pre-school children & carers with play, education & social interaction.

Parent and Toddler Group

An educational and social work charity with additional youth remit working in a disadvantaged areas. Provision of equipment & furniture to local day nursery; ad hoc literacy support but regular sessions have not proved possible; consortium with other charities in area to provide a Summer Project, which assisted St George's (Hanworth) Youth Club to run two activity weeks for local youngsters.
