Plateful Cafe empowers refugees to obtain mainstream employment in the catering industry by providing hospitality training and employment in a cafe.The cafe also runs a shop selling products made by local refugees and delivers monthly community dinners.Plateful Cafe also caters for outside events and offers private dining in people homes.Asylum-seekers volunteer at the cafe.

bulwell charitable trust is a local charity raising shop situated in Nottingham,which provides monies for local clubs,schools and other activities.

We are a small local Charity running a Charity Shop to raise funds to support the elderly in St Just and Pendeen. We were closed for some months due to the Covid lockdowns and are now open again on reduced hours. The regular monthly free lunches had to be suspended during the pandemic but hope to resume again in 2022. Our buildings are used by local groups for a small fee.

The trust which is a Christian organisation runs a community charity shop on Swinemoor estate in Beverley. Items are sold at a very affordable price. At the front of the shop is an area where free refreshments are served and people can chat. The objectives of the charity are to advance the Christian faith as the trustees of the charity may from time to time see fit.

We operate in the Wyre Forest area & are a branch of the RSPCA operating within boundaries agreed by the Society. We rehome animals taken in by the Inspectors & unwanted by the public. We offer low cost neutering, micro-chipping & help with vet bills for residents in receipt of certain benefits. We operate a charity shop & run fund-raising events to enable us to provide these services.

WCA has focused its resources on developing and managing a website that promotes community space and activities in the Merton area - a one-stop shop for organisations and individuals seeking community space and groups. Trustees believe this maintains the charity's legacy, alongside facilitating in-person events, in supporting and promoting a wide variety of community space and activities.

Fundraising through organised events such as the School Summer Fete, Christmas Fayre, and Second-Hand Uniform Shop.

We raise funds for village projects which will regenerate the local community. Our first project has been to help in the launch of a community shop and internet cafe. The shop provides employment to c 60 volunteeer staff and to two paid staff. It fills a necessary social function by bringing the village together, providing a source of groceries and a meeting place. Village cohesion is enhanced

Shared Goods supports asylum seekers and refugees living in Kirklees by supplying them with donated clothes and household goods which have been donated, and toiletries and underwear which are new. One part-time worker runs a "free shop" with the help of volunteers, many of whom themselves come from the client community.

Barlborough Civic Trust provides two buildings for school and community use with coffee shop facilities two morning a week. There are a wide range of community groups to cater for all ages from social clubs to various exercise activities for the residents of Barlborough and further afield. We now have a before and after school club in the Little School.

The object of the shop is to raise funds to donate to groups/organisations that assist in the provision of support and care and medical aids and equipment to local hospitals/doctors and groups.

AS THE CEO, YASSIN,I'VE BEEN DISTRIBUTING BABY PACKS FOR PREECLAMPSIA PATIENTS IN HOSPITALS IN THE UK, WITH MY TRUSTEES.I'VE ALSO USED MY LAWSUIT AWARD, TO OPEN A CHARITY SHOP, WE BOUGHT SLEEPING BAGS AND JACKETS, GAVE THEM TO THE HOMELESS IN THE UK, I BOUGHT CRADLE BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORS FOR GAMBIA AND SENEGAL. I'VE STARTED A DOCUMENTARY WITH WOMEN IN THE GAMBIA, ABOUT VICTIMS OF PREECLAMPSIA

We raise money throughout the year by various means which include a large live "On Air" auction of donated items. This is done in conjunction this year with GenX Radio Suffolk. We also have a Fancy Dress Hire, Party Shop. Throughout the year Suffolk-based reg charities can apply for a grant applications are available on our website www.operationsantaappeal.com.
