Displays local activities and caring organisations. Premises hired out to local groups.

Religious In Christ works with Basingstoke community and the public at large in preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also help those in need by attending to their needs, community work shops counselling young adults.

St Clement is a very small village, we use the parish hall to keep the local community together. Other than the Church, we do not have anywhere to meet (no shop or public house). We hold fund raising events to cover the costs of electricity-water and general maintenance of the building. The hall is available for hiring by any group or individual.

We host fundraising activities and events such as fetes, cake sales / pop up shops and raffle to raise money for our school.

The company continues to receive and allocate parents' contributions to the Education Fund to which parents donate by way of the Gift Aid Scheme. The aim is to ensure maximum enhancement to pupils experiences. It continues to receive convenanted profits of Elmfield Enterprises Limited which runs the School shop. The company makes every effort to increase the level of voluntary contributions.

Currently working on cataloguing the collections of some 8000 objects and paper ephemera providing a tangible social history of Malton, Norton and the local area for the education of the general public. In 2022 we expanded our shop window Heritage Trail around the shops and buildings in the two towns in order to further inform the general public about the history of the area.

Maintenance of unique two storey Georgian Dovecote open every day free providing local heritage displays and small not for profit community shop, free car park, Englands oldest AA telephone kiosk and riverside picnic area. All maintained by volunteers. Trust does not have sufficient resources to provide grants.

Babel Hall is an important focal point for a rural community in an area of small hill farms where there are three chapels but no shop, public house, church or other public meeting place. The hall serves as a venue for whist drives, talks, St. David's Day cawl, local Eisteddfodau, Christmas parties, bingo nights, games nights, meetings and other activities associated with a community hall.

We raise money at local fairs and through fundraising events which we then use to help local families, causes, youth groups and charities. Due to Covid-19 this year we have been unable to complete any fundraising but we are in the process of opening a shop in our local High Street

We run a shop specially for childrens cancer hospices adult hospices.

Provision of village history centre at Steeple Aston Village Hall, with public access to the archive and other facilities. Public lecture each spring. Public exhibition each autumn. Additional publications of CDs, DVDs, annual booklets, with 13 items now available from the website shop. Family history research and local house histories undertaken. Basingstoke WI activities are as follows: Monthly meetings with a speaker or activity and time to socialize. Organised work shops and outings and regular members' groups, trips, walks and demonstrations in connection with craft, education, training, sport and culture and attendance at County and National WI events. Welfare for WI members.

The charity runs a small shop within the Adelaide complex to provide elderly and disabled clients the opportunity of personally purchasing small everyday items and treats. It also holds raffles and competitions with proceeds helping to purchase little luxuries such as televisions for bedrooms, regular live entertainers and Christmas presents and treats for the clients resident at Christmas.

Street Children Relief Centre works in the UK and in Africa. In the UK, the charity strengthens families and communities through workshops on parenting, youth mentoring and running a charity shop. In Africa, the charity assists street children with food, clothes, shelter, education and health care.
