THE CHARITY OPERATES A COST SHOP THAT PROVIDES BASIC GOODS AT COST OR BELOW TO IDENTIFIED RECIPIENTS WHO ARE SUFFERING FINANCIAL HARDSHIP IN THE GREATER MANCHESTER AREA.

We conduct monthly Parish-wide litter picks to keep our area clean using local resident volunteers. We provide Pop-up non-for-profit coffee shops to encourage social interaction and mobilisation in the local community. We plant trees and are active with speeding in Parish. We care about our local heritage and environment.

We run a weekly tuck shop for the children attending orchestra rehearsals. We raise funds at orchestra concerts via ticket sales/raffles. We accept donations and sometimes apply for relevant grants.

The Rose Cottage Charity Mickleton funds provides gift voucher for exchange at local shops each christmas. The recipients are the elderly and sick.

The Clothing Bank ,where people in clothing poverty can access preloved clothing giving them their dignity. The Swap Shop, where items can be swapped for items of similar value, both of these activities stop items going to land fill. Crafty Chat where people in social isolation can come together to learn new crafts and meet people, we aim to follow this up with up cycling clothing.

Attending fundraising events in the West Midlands and small fundraising shop.

Raising funds as a PTA to support the children and families of St Cadocs Primary School. Activities include Christmas movie nights, Year 6 Leaver celebrations, Uniform shop and Easter tea. All proceeds are spent within the school community.

As we have no school, shop or public house, the village hall is therefore the only focal point for the village. It provides a facility that is available to all the residents , various committees,social groups and is available for private functions to the villagers. The elected committee & trustees oversee the use, maintenance & provision of all the facilities that are available to all.

The Charity was founded to support the poor and needy in the Parish of Great Milton, by means of gifts of winter fuel. These days make these gifts to people in the form of vouchers which can bee redeemed at the Village Shop.

Distributing gift vouchers at Christmastime to elderly inhabitants (over 70 yrs.) of the town of Penrhyndeudraeth and the village of Minffordd which are redeemable at three retail shops in the town (butcher, newsagent and one grocery store). The vouchers are valued at approx.?4.50 on to which the retailers add a further 50p. About 100 vouchers are distributed annually.

Small donations within our budget are given annually to people deemed to be in need or have encountered difficult problems eg: bereavement, illness or poverty. In most cases these donations are given in cash so that the person concerned can utilise the gift in our village shop thus not necessitating travelling some distance by public transport (minimum return of 14 miles).

Provide wellbeing support to individuals with disabilities, care needs, or in isolated circumstances in a personalised way, from chats, shared trips to shops or church, help changing light bulbs, putting birthday cards in the post to friends, packing parcels. making and sharing a cup of coffee, filling in forms.Our motto is "Small deeds of kindness make the world of difference"

Provides a display, reseach and sales area for the local museum, local societies and artists. This is achieved by the trustees leasing and running a shop in the centre of Camberley. This is at 33b & c Obelisk Way, The Square, Camberley, GU15 3SG.

The Charity has been carrying out various funding raising events including a bake sale, and collecting funds from the public using coin boxes at local shops. The Charity now plans to help the elderly residents of Camden Council London, through provision of food. We hope to pursue other feasible ways of raising funds and helping people in the UK.

Supporting team basis of healthcare treatment such as physio, hydrotherapy and medicines (otherwise not available in NHS and not self funded.) We plan to improve shared help via shared care booklets and advising visitors with needs who call at our shop.

DOPWA supports the welfare of Duston residents who are aged 70 years or over. Activities include a Spring party, Summer coach outing and each elderly member is given a Christmas shopping voucher which may be spent in any of the Duston area shops. There is no membership fee. All activities are organised and run by our own volunteers. New helpers are always welcome.

A local group covering the Borough of Stafford within the County of Staffordshire we are volunteer members who want to improve life for those of us who need dignified access to town centres, shops offices and government buildings as well as parks and the countryside. Working to achieve better access for everybody identifying issues with access to roadways pavements and crossings.
