Scouting in the community.

Providing a refurbished community centre for accessible rental to create a safe, welcoming venue for leisure and learning; strengthening our community. All rentals have met our charitable objects. To date the rentals have included: Pre School, Faith Group, Voluntary organisation celebrating volunteering, Board meetings and Community events.

The provision of residential, respite and day services in a therapeutic community for people with special developmental needs, which can include life crises, mental health problems, an/or learning disabilities, however, the registered care home run by the charity has now been closed.

We have different activities on the weekly basis:-prayer cells -youth bible study-intercession meeting-choir rehearsal -bible study for adults-service( preaching)

i) The relief of poverty by promoting tree planting and effective tree management internationally as means of combating land erosion and degradation, rural poverty and ecological and environmental deterioration, andii) The advancement of education in the importance of the role of forestry and in tree planting and tree management

Provision of Immediate Medical Care

Restoration of existing greenhousesPlanting, growing and harvesting plants, vegetables and fruit on a cooperative basis.Encouraging and training volunteers in good horticultural practice.Running regular monthly open days over the late Spring, Summer and early Autumn periods.Sharing produce with the local community

To advance Christian faith and to relieve need, hardship and sickness in accordance with the charities "Statement of beliefs".

Supporting family doctors(and/or their families) who work or have worked in Avon.

Dance Festival

Bristol Fashion Chorus is an award winning ladies' chorus which strives for musical excellence in 4 part A-Capella singing. We sing primarily in the barbershop style and aim to encourage and develop the style through our chorus, quartets and small group performances. Our mission is to educate, support and enrich the lives of our diverse membership and share the gift of music with our audiences.

Church services, sacraments, devotions, sacred processions and ceremonies

The object of the CIO is, for the public benefit, to promote participation in Martial Arts.

We fundraise to improve the equipment at Littlemead Primary Academy for all pupils.

A free advice service using a qualified advice worker from a third party supplier, versed in the rules and regulations covering welfare benefits who advises people on entitlements and if necessary helps process claims. He/she also advises on debt issues. An appointment system is used and the service is available 1 morning per week in Shirehampton.

To provide transport facilities for members of the Scout Association and other Youth Organisations to enable them to take part in activities

The aims and objectives of the Avon Squash & Racketball are set out in our constitution and our activities include the running of county leagues, the participation in Inter-County Squash & Squash 57, the running of county championships, coaching across all gender and age ranges. We are open to all. We are affiliated to England Squash, the UK governing body for the sport.

Our vision as a Trust is to help all young people in our schools enjoy learning, be ambitious, raise their attainment and aspire to worthwhile careers and lives. Steered by our moral values and principles, we are finding new ways to work together and to engage with our local community. We believe that this work will create stronger schools and a stronger community spirit in South West Bristol.

FORGS runs activities to raise money for Redland Green School, to be used to provide extra facilities, equipment and opportunities for its pupils. FORGS also undertakes to provide social events for the children, staff and carers associated with the school, in order to promote a greater sense of welbeing and community. FORGS will also help to represent the school within the wider community.

Providing lunch and social events for local residents who are over 50 years of age.

Manage a period house museum

General fundraising activities such as discos, cake sales, Secret Mothers Day and Fathers Day sales, Film nights Christmas Fayres, Ladies Night and BBQ`s etc to raise funds to purchase educational items for the school. So far these have been book corners for all classrooms with child friendly seating and carpets and a new library, outside stage and portable inside stage.
