To promote the benefit of all people who live and work in the area of Hotwells and Cliftonwood and its neighbourhood, without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions... in a common effort to improve the conditions of life for all, through education, information and the provision of facilities and activities that support community wellbeing.

Friends of Bannerman (the PTA) has been set up by parents to raise money for the school, support the school activities and make a difference for the children. Key aims are to raise funds to help the school provide extra resources for the pupils, run events for parents and children, provide support for school trips and outings, hold meetings to inform parents about education issues,

We are a Parent Teacher Association and focus on fundraising for Colston's Girls' School. Teachers can apply for funds for items/activities which the school otherwise would not be able to afford. We then discuss the requests and approve/reject them. The main fundraising events we do throughout the year are one Raffle plus a big summer fair with second hand uniform sale. Our main charitable purposes are to provide activities that are of benefit to children; to encourage the participation of older and more isolated people; to provide opportunities for volunteering in recreational gardening and gaining knowledge of wildlife and nature. We provide social activities for everyone living in the vicinity of High Kingsdown and support during the Covid 19 crisis.

(1) To encourage the preservation and the study of historical documents relating to the history of the City of Bristol, chiefly through the publication of records related to the Bristol area.(2) To promote, improve, and maintain public education in and appreciation of the significance of such documents and other historical and archive material.

BKLT was formed to raise awareness of Lupus and support research into the causes, treatment and cure of lupus. Since establishment it has made giant strides in raising awareness of lupus. Despite acute funding problems BKLT have continued to make donations towards research.The Trustees remain resolute in pursuit of the charity's aims and objectives. We hope to give an improved performance report.

The income arising on the trust fund shall be used to advance the education of the people of Bristol and Oporto about their respective countries, their peoples and culture. This may be achieved by assisting with displays, meetings, lectures, publications, visits and exchanges etc of artists, crafts people, arts organisations and students.

Working with local organisations we help the poor to obtain plant foods for direct consumption, water supplies, and other basic essentials. We try to foster self-sufficiency. We support orphanages. We never supply animal foods or live animals and work at home and abroad to create awareness of the benefits of using plant foods direct instead of processing them inefficiently through farm animals.

Acts as an umbrella group to support and facilitate contact between groups and individuals interested in local history and archaeology. Publishes a quarterly Newsletter, booklets and an annual list of speakers and leaders of walks; organises an annual local history study day; organises volunteers; offers schools prizes and small grants for local history research; liaises with local authorities

Religous activities

The charity is established to enhance the good name of the City of Bristol, its traditions trade & commerce. The charity receives its income from donations received from the Guild of Guardians and by donations received directly from personal members of the Guild of Guardians. The charity makes grants to the City of Bristol and other local institutions and individuals.

Fundraising to send money to Nicaragua to pay wages and purchase educational equipment for two pre-schools in Puerto Morazan.Providing support for people to go to Nicaragua to assist at the schools.Setting up logistical support (not financed by FoM) to assist visits to PM by teachers from Bristol schools.Providing information to Bristol schools to assist learning about PM and Nicaragua.

To advance education and training of women and raise awareness in equality and diversity to help them find employment or become productively engaged whilst at the same time, improving their wellbeing and self esteem, including running development programmes and mentorship schemes and providing support, services and information to women suffering from distress and trauma due to sexual violence.

provides an assortment of activities including, Football, Basketball, Cooking, Craft, Art, Music, outings and lots of other activities to children from 5 years old to Young people to 16 years old approx.

The LANCE Trust is dedicated to stopping and reversing the decline of wildlife habitats and species in the parish of Long Ashton near Bristol.

To advance education for the public benefit in the subject of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, its history and heritage, by the establishment and maintenance of a Museum and Learning Centre
