The Trustees invest funds and manage a land holding the income from which they distribute to the beneficiaries of the Charity. The Trustees do not raise money.

Education of Girls in Uganda - support schools with bore holes for water, solar power, computer technology, school buildings.

Ace has two aims-the mobile warden scheme & the social link:- 1) We find finances to employ a mobile warden to visit & care for Linton elderly in their own homes. 2) We provide social gatherings & meetings & occasional outings to help social cohension & prevent isolation of the elderley & keep them as a vital part of our village.

The Spalding Deaf Club meets up twice a month to help give the opportunity for deaf people (young and old) in the local and surround areas to come together, socialise and talk about any issues that concern them. Typical activities include fund-raising to provide day-trips out and for any worthy causes related to the deaf world.

Conington Town Lands Charity provides support to the residents of Conington (Cambs).

to support elderly people who are in need, by providing care, services and other facilities within a Christian environment to the glory of God, in Cambridge and the surrounding areato advance the education of the community regarding care for the elderly, by providing information and advice through classes, seminars, conferences and presentations, and written or online material

The charity provides funds for staffing and facilities for a medical centre in rural Pakistan and two ambulances for patients of surrounding villages. A 500 gallon filtration plant has been installed for free clean water to the public. The charity provides funds to run treatment camps in remote villages in collaboration with other local organisations, e.g. for eye testing and treatment.

Training of Ordinands

This is an ancient charity dating from 1721 when it provided a school master's house where education took place in the same building. Gradually a full primary school has developed around it and it still continues to provide accomodation for the school. The charity also has 10 acres of agricultural land which provides a small income.

Support for Baptist Churches in the area of benefit.

There are no activities as such. -ú20,000.00 was raised through the selling of land to Anglia Water Board and this was invested. -ú10,000.00 in Charibonds and -ú10,000.00 in Charifunds. This is where the income is raised. The expenditure is to pay off loan for the new village Hall. This is a 30 year loan and it is a stepping stone for the Playingfield and Village Hall Committee.

The charity provides for the wider needs of the community and in the period 2010-11 gave support to the sheltered housing community, the community primary school and the resources required to meet the needs of the parish plan.In 2012 there were no immediate requests but the Chairty is now registered for gift aid and this is encouraging support.

To relieve in cases of need hardship or distress persons who are elderly or who suffer from mental or physical illness or disability or disorder and to that end to meet their financial emotional and spiritual needs and also the needs of their dependants and immediate families.
