We've run projects that help various communities in the local areas of our teams in various countries, including a project to improve the lives of Homeless People and we have constructed a sports/community centre and a school in Ahmedabad, India. No activity within Tinners Trust has taken place since April 2017 due to a theft from the charity that was reported to the police. All fundraising and donations have ceased and the trustees are now in contact with the Charity Commission to dissolve the charity and all funds will be transferred to West Riding Kidney Patients Association

Provision of one toddler session, one Early Starter session (children from 2.5-3 years) and eight pre-school sessions per week throughout the school year. Bustardthorpe Allotments provides individual allotment gardens, communal gardens, small nature reserve, community orchard and shop mainly, but not exclusively, for residents of the Southbank and Bishopthorpe areas of York, in many cases providing the therapeutic benefits of an open space and access to nature which they do not have at their place of residence.

We provide facilities for social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of the wards of Holgate and Acomb in York in particular and the residents of York generally.
