The charity was set up to help with any project that would be a help to the local community.We have no project at present.

Releif of suffering by the poor

We are fund raising with the aim of purchasing fields in Higher Road, Breage. We are asking for pledges to cover the purchase cost and legal fees. Our aim is to establish a wildflower meadow. The fields are part of a green triangle at the heart of this Cornish village which is within a Conservation Area and a Mining World Heritage Site. The fields are a green backdrop to the Church of St Breaca.

Love Trees Cornwall is established to encourage links between young people and the environment. Additionally, the Charity has a longer term aspiration to potentially develop a tree center, for young people to enjoy.

Helping young people in the Newquay, Cornwall area between ages of 13 and 21 years of age.

The main activities of the club are to save lives and prevent drowning, and to provide education and training in all areas relating to lifesaving, rescue and resuscitation for the benefit of the public in St Ives through providing training sessions on the beach and in the pool, and taking part in lifesaving competitions and other events.

The Soundhouse Trust provides a wide range of youth and community music activities for people local to its area.

Creative Opportunities for Independence works with adults and young people with support needs by using creative activities to develop the life and employment skills needed in order to be able to live independently. It provides regualar day activities, residential activity breaks and social events.

Promotion of any charitable purpose which will encourage the exercise of and maintain the standards of crafts both ancient and modern, preserve and improve craftsmanship and foster, promote and increase the interest of the public particularly in the County of Cornwall.

For the public benefit, the advancement of the Christian Faith in Penzance and Newlyn and such other parts of the UK and the world as the Charity Trustees from time to time decide.

Davidstow currently has no village hall facility. The previous hall had become derilict, unusable and beyond the resources of the charity to repair.It was voted at a public meeting to dispose iof the property at auction.It was sold at public auction on February 24th 2009 for the sum of -ú54.000.oo.

The Charity was formed by the will of John Johns who died in 1773, for the relief of the poor of Fowey, for the education of children in Fowey and the annual preaching of a sermon.Activities were expanded in 2008 to include the provision of and financial support for Christian education, training and ministry and the relief of poverty in the Parish of Fowey and beyond.

Maintains and supervises an area of open space for the benefit of local parishioners comprising mainly saltings of a tidal estuary which have been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Includes a small quay and also a village pond (the latter outside the SSSI area) which is maintained on a voluntary basis by the local residents.
