The charitable company's objects and principal activities are to advance for the public benefit education in the Diocese of Truro or elsewhere, in particular but not exclusively.

Raising funds in order to stage a day-long event culminating in a Carnival Parade and fireworks display which offers local charities the opportunity to collect money for their respective charities.As of the 2025 AGM, following 2 years inactivity, this organisation has been closed down. The money held was allocated to another community based charity and the bank account has been closed.

Conservation work in the Poldice Valley, assisting students in undertaking studies of the flora, fauna and contamination within the valley.

Provide funds for the upkeep of the Church premises at Maker

To hold in Trust the building of The Fowey Working Men's Institute and provide grants for local sport's clubs.

The charity was set up for two elderly parishioners in the parish of St Erme

Relief of poverty among the elderly of Launceston

South West School of Worship resources, trains and equips local churches and their worship teams. We provide in person teaching and training, webinar training and we resource worship gatherings to build, inspire and encourage other members of the church body.

Maintain Preaching Pit for Community Use

Porthleven under fives playgroup is a voluntary organisation, run by parents for children. It seeks to support children to learn in different interactive play. This is accomplished through playing with a variety of toys, undertaking art/craft/cooking activities, singing together & listening to stories as a group.

The Charity organises various fundraising activities, the main one being the South West Coastal Path Walk 2006 and 2008, River Boat Trip and we also receive kind donations. This enables us to achieve our Charity's aim and provide local CF people with medical, physiotherapy equipment and resources thus improving their quality of life and also helping the CF Trust into finding a cure for CF.

At the moment we are temporary closed due to trying to rehouse into a new buildings. We are still doing talks about Dunkeswell and we are doing tours around the area of Dunkeswell so we can let people know the history of the area in World War Two.
