Today it aims to provide financial assistance to individuals or families in need and to institutions in the parish which are able to provide collective financial support for the benefit of those they exist to serve.

Providing sports for the disabled and social activities for the spinal patients at the hospital in Southport.

Advancement of the Christian religion for the benefit of the public, through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, producing or distributing literature, on the teachings of Jesus Christ and such other ways as the trustees may determine. The promotion of equality and diversity of all, especially Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender people for the public benefit.

IN OR TOWARDS EMPLOYING A NURSE OR NURSES FOR POOR INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF BRIGHAM AND THE ADJOINING NEIGHBOURHOOD OR ANY PART THEREOF OR TOWARDS THE NURSING OF THE SICK OF THE COUNTY OF CUMBERLAND, OR FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES IN THE SAID COUNTY.

Record and provide audio tapes containing local news to visually impaired members of the public.

Court Thorn Surgery Patient Participation Group (PPG) carries out regular meetings to review performance and share feedback from patients reviews and other medical bodies. It provides a free Prescription Delivery Service. It arranges health education seminars. It purchases equipment over and above equipment used by an average practice. It acts as a partner at strategic and operational levels.

Financial help to needy parishioners

The object of the charity is to advance the education of the public by the development, preservation and display of collections relating to the history of the practice of medicine, public health and healthcare in Lancaster and environs and to promote interest in the history of medicine for the benefit of the public.

Make donations to school & people in need or poor health

Assistance to young people in the parish of Ormside who are progressing to either higher / further education, or taking up other training such as an apprenticeship.

No active fund raising. All income generated by interest on the account.

Arranges trips , parties , holidays, help attend appointments & social evenings.
