The CRA are currently trying to provide Tavistock with sports and recreational facilities to benefit the towns people.

In the heart of a national park, provides a village green - grassed open space with trees and seating for local activities/quiet enjoyment. Available at no charge to the general public, local residents and visitors.

To provide a high standard of independent education for boys and girls aged between 7 and 18, with broad academic potential, in Devon. The charity strives to produce a solid educational platform for each pupil and looks to provide opportunities at the school where each child may excel, be they academic, artistic, cultural or sporting.

Helping young persons with education and training

Local Pre-School Playgroup, covering a few small villages, running for 40 years, with provision for 15 children.

Support of services at Holy Trinity Church, Gidleigh, and maintenance of fabric

THE CHARITY DESTRIBUTES PAYMENTS TO SELECTED DESERVING INDIVIDUALS IN THE BOROUGH OF TIVERTON.

Woodside provides sanctuary for most types of unwanted pets. None are destroyed unless beyond veterinary help or dangerous. Elderly and sick animals receive care for life if necessary. A pioneering spay and neuter programme is in operation and, funds permitting, welfare officers visit deprived areas to assist responsible ownership. All adopted animals are taken back if they can no longer be kept.

To provide support by means of grants to individuals and registered charities which seek to improve the living conditions of disabled or disadvantaged persons.

The application of income in the maintenance of the almshouse buildings, garden and services is the first priority. Surplus income is applied on various projects of a charitable nature within the area of benefit, for example repairs to the local swimming pool buildings and facilities, improvements to the facilities of the local football club and improvement of local school facilities.

The Charity operates in the parishes of Kentisbury & Trentishoe in Devon for training and educating young people under 25 years old resident in the parishes. Also providing benefits for which provision is not made out of public funds for the Primary School which is attended by children of the Parishes. Also promoting religious education of persons in accordance with the Church of England.

The first is a music strand as we believe mental health and Music are linked and learning a musical instrument and creating music have so many health benefits, particularly in confidence building, relief of anxiety and depression among others. We offer Music resources from learning an instrument, home recording all the way to distribution. This is all done at home online, regardless of background.
