The corps is a private, totally independent voluntary organisation maintained by private subscription and fund raising, started over 115 years ago. The charity owns 4 one-bedroom cottages which are let at a discounted rent to retired, local residents.

Friends of Steep Church (FOSC) assists in the restoration, preservation, maintenance, repair, improvement and beautification of All Saints Church in Steep, Hampshire.It raises funds which, in cooperation with the Parochial Church Council, are applied to improvement projects for the church and its immediate surroundings

To support the Mary Rose Trust (1/10 College Rd, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, PO1 3LX) registered charity number 277503 for the public benefit, firstly by making grants out of income to meet any shortfall in the income requirements of the Mary Rose Trust, secondly to support development projects and thirdly by making loans or provide security for capital projects or towards general expenditure.

Providing a community concert band - rehearsals and concerts and free band stand performances for the local community.

A University of the Third Age is a learning cooperative of older people which enables members to share many educational, creative and leisure activities. Activities are organised mainly in small groups that meet regularly often in each others homes. Through sharing their knowledge, skills and experiences members learn from each other.

To provide for the advancement of the education of the pupils of The Petersfield School by the provision of facilities not normally provied by the Education Authority. The Trustees take that to mean that a request for unusual or additional equipment will be considered together with items of educational worth not in the Education Authority's budget.

To support the charitable work of Alton Abbey by inviting and receiving funds in the form of subscriptions, donations, and organising fundraising events.
