Broxbourne Borough Cerebral Palsy Football Club is a charity for children with Cerebral Palsy. We allow children to play football in a safe environment. We under take a 10 minute warm up session to stretch their muscles, followed by ball skills and a football match. We operate from Goffs Academy on a 4g Astro and allow our frame children to use the indoor sports hall during the winter months.

The charity raises money to support Ardeley St Lawrence School, Hertfordshire. Regular activities include personalised cards and gifts, a christmas craft fair, raffles, family fun days, bbq events, sport day, quiz nights, film club and evening events, and coordinating purchases from companies that give cash back to the school etc.

Provide funding to support activities or equipment which enrich the education provided by Graveley Primary School.

SCHOOL PTA RAISES FUNDS FOR USE BY THE SCHOOL.

The charity was incorporated to hold on to trust the land and property of Holdbrook Church. It was transferred on 29 January 2009 and the company continues to hold it. It is held with the intention that it can be developed into a site providing space and facilities for Christian worship and outreach, and social and educational facilities for the local community once suitable funding is found.

Up Community is a charity passionate in supporting neurodiverse children and their families.We organise social events from sensory play groups to swimming sessions for children and their families.Together creating a supportive community where children can socialise in a safe and no judgemental environment and parents/carers can seek support, friendship and advice.

Support of St Cuthbert Mayne RC Junior School, Hemel Hempstead, through the provision of funding, equipment and events to further and extend the educational aims of the school and its relationship with the local community.

Relieve the suffering and distress of hedgehogs in need of care by providing a rescue, care and rehabilitation for sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs with the aim of releasing hedgehogs back into the wild wherever possible and to also provide a safe refuge for non native hedgehog species.Educate the public by promoting awareness of the problems hedgehogs encounter and their future survival.

Founded originally as a non-charitable Patient Participation Group (PPG) in 1992 we work with the Davenport House GP practice to a) influence the future policies and decisions of the practice b) improve the quality of services offered to patients of the practice c) improve communication and understanding between the doctors and members of the practice staff and the public that it serves.

Educational and social

We meet weekly where we have a speaker to give us information and help on various subjects. The speakers being experts in their own fields. Each year we have a chosen charity and we organise several events to support them.

Grants are made annually to persons within a five mile radius of the parish boundary, who are receiving further education.

Providing Onslow St Audrey's School with benefits not provided by the LA. Providing prizes to pupils who have shown outstanding public spirit. Promoting the education of prospective, present or past pupils of the school who are in need of financial assistance. Making grants to Hatfield charities educating or enhancing through leisure time activities the lives of persons under the age of 25 years.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE HERITAGE FUND WAS LAUNCHED IN 1988 WITHIN THE PURPOSE TO SUPPORT MUSEUMS AND ARCHIVES IN HERTFORDSHIRE TO PURCHASE ITEMS RELATING TO THE COUNTY'S PAST AND MAKE THEM ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC. SINCE 1988 OVER 50 GRANTS HAVE BEEN GIVEN.

The advancement of the Christian faith for the public benefit in Hemel Hempstead, Kings Langley and the surrounding area by supporting Christian organisations and individuals who are serving the young people of our area in such ways as the trustees think fit

HELP IS AVAILABLE IN THE FORM OF SMALL GRANTS AND LOANS TO THOSE IN FINANCIAL NEED OR WITH UNEXPECTED FINANCIAL BURDENS IN THE VILLAGES OF BARKWAY AND NUTHAMPSTEAD. THE CHARITY CAN HELP INDIVIDUALS WITH THE PROVISION OF ESSENTIAL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, PAYMENT FOR SERVICES, HOSPITAL VISITS AND OTHER SUCH EXPENSES.

Currently operates one day a fortnight, on a Monday, school term time only, providing lunch and companionship for single pensioners who live in Bricket Wood, St. Albans.

The Trust promotes and preserves for the benefit of the public a museum and local studies centre with material of archaeological, historical, artistic and social interests and importance to the people of Three Rivers district in Hertfordshire.
