FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF ELDERLY PEOPLE WHO ARE RESIDENTS OF MAYFAIR LODGE CARE HOME, POTTERS BAR BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES, ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES OVER AND ABOVE THOSE REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED BY THE CARE HOME, PARTICULARLY WITH A VIEW TO HELPING THE RESIDENTS TO UNDERTAKE ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES.

RECREATION AND SPORT. HOME OF HERTINGFORDBURY CRICKET CLUB

1. Assist in the preservation, repair and maintenance of the fabric of the Church of St Mary Magdalene, Barkway and major fittings and ornaments of the Church and to maintain the Churchyard.2. Foster interest in the preservation of the Church throughout the parishes of Barkway, Nuthampstead and among all who live in the village or have reason to care for the well-being of the Church.

Social club for people with learning difficulties

The object of the Association is to enhance the education of the pupils by providing (or contributing to) extra facilities that would not otherwise be available at Ashfield. To this end ASHA organises a variety of events throughout the year to raise additional funds to be spent on equipment and special projects that will enhance our children's education.

We are creating support networks and activities for those whose loved ones have dementia. Activities include crafts, general social activities and walks.

General fundraising activities to raise money for the school

The Trust has obtained from Dacorum Borough Council a lease for 125 yrs for the burial ground.The Trust continues to manage the burial ground in Chipperfield, and volunteers are cutting the grass and doing regular maintenance. The trust is looking after the hedge as it grows; there are now a total of 3 graves and one interment of ashes.

TO RAISE MONEY FOR ITEMS NEEDED BY THE TEACHERS FOR OUR CHILDREN

We raise money from running fun and engaging activities such as sponsored events, school discos, summer fetes, themed wrapping rooms, cakes sales etc.Most events take part on school premises.

We provide continuous live or recorded radio service for the enterainment of patients ,staff and visitors at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital.To engage patients in broadcast through visits to the wards,request from patients,staff,ralatives.We aim to help the patients feel part of the community,decrease feelings of isolation and contrbute to the well-being and recovery of patients in L & D area

Various fundraising events open to the school pupils local and wider community. Examples summer and Christmas fetes, fireworks display, quiz and race nights.

Bringing live music to area in which Abbots Langley Orchestra operates under the aegis of a professional conductor and using mainly professional soloists to give audience best experience. To give orchestra members opportunity of playing solo in concertos. Short talks on structure and context given before each piece. ALO expands its repertoire by undertaking contemporary or rarely performed works

Raising money through the school parent community to support the purchase of equipment and resources to benefit all the pupils across the age range.

Provides a service to children 8 to 18 on seamanship, leadership and teamworking

The St Albans Half Marathon is an annual running event offering a Half Marathon, Walking Half, Wheelchair Half, 5k and Fun Run.The event looks to bring together the local community and local businesses.Our main benefiting charities are donated free entry spaces to help fundraising and we make monetary donations to approximately 50 marshal groups yearly.

As an organisation Friends of Laurance Haines School (FoLHS), support the school with fundraising at various events.

To raise funds to advance and support the education of pupils at Knebworth Primary and Nursery School, by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the School and advance the education of the pupils.

We are an amateur community theatre group based in Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire. We produce produce and present plays, and other theatre-related activities such as workshops, open evenings and play readings, as well as social events. We welcome the active participation of the community in all our activities.
