We raise funds to enhance the education, training and provision of education and training for students and trainees at Elstree Screen Arts Academy and the local community.

Totally voluntary organisation. Teaching water awareness and safety to the public (all ages). Running Life Saving Courses in schools for pupils, teachers and parents alike. Periodically patrolling local rivers to assist river users as required. Giving Water Safety Cover to local events eg: Triathlons, Raft Races, Boating events. Providing national rescue to flooding incidents.

We advance the education of people not in full time gainful employment who are in their third age residing in Redbourn and its surrounding locality. Activities to achieve this include lectures, group activities led by members for the mutual benefit of all, and visits to cultural and other localities of interest.

A women's club, the objects stated in our constitution being "to advance education and to provide facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare, with the object of improving the conditions of life for women in the area of benefit without distinction or political, religious or other opinions.

Place of worship and community activity

To further or benefit the residents of Braughing Parish and the neighbourhood to advance education and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

Dacorum Borough Council granted a new lease to enable Gadebridge Community Centre to take on and manage GYC. It forms an integral part of support to the Community including a large hall (ideal for dance lessons inc. tap dancing) a high ceiling gym and an internet cafe with a dedicated tutor and many other activities. Trustees & staff are DBS registered

The charity operates to provide additional resources, equipment and other sundry items to enhance the education of the children at the school.

We hold monthly meetings with a speaker, refreshments and plenty of interaction between our committee and members. We run many different groups with a view to education and friendship. At least ten outings are arranged each year to places of interest and one of our main aims is to provide a friendly meeting place for the local community.

A village hall for the use and enjoyment of people living in Therfield and the surrounding villages. Focus for community activities. Regularly used by groups within the village. Focus for a range of events and activities. By its use is an integral part of village life. Available for all.

Fund raising for benefit of academy community.

The aims of the association are a) to educate the public on the importance of bees to the environment and b) to promote and further the craft of beekeeping. The association helps school, youth and adult groups learn about the world of the honey bee and provides beekeeper training.

Choral singing.

We are a member of the National Confederation of Parent Teacher Associations (NCPTA). We exist principally to raise money for the school by the orgainsation of enjoyable events for all members and associates of the school. The PTFA Committee work closely with the Head Teacher to determine specific areas which require funding that are NOT covered within the main budget.

Fundraising activities to support All Saints school

Makes regular and ad hoc donations to individuals, particularly Christian missionaries, and Christian organisations.

Sourcing new as well as second hand donations and distributing them to parents in need within Hertfordshire.

TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF BELIEFS IN THE SCHEDULE ATTACHED IN STEVENAGE AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE WORLD AS THE CHURCH COUNCIL MAY SEE FIT. ALSO THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND SICKNESS AND DISTRESS CAUSED THEREBY REGARDLESS OF NATIONALITY, RELIGIOUS, POLITICAL OR OTHER OPINION IN STEVENAGE AND SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM.

Give holidays to children with life threatening illness.

The Memorial Hall is used as a venue for numerous village organisations.

Bella Cora is a small (25 member) female upper voice choir who perform in concerts, at weddings and competitions, and a variety of events in London and Hertfordshire. Our repertoire is extensive and we perform a range of musical genres including but not limited to classical, folk, musical theatre, madrigals, spirituals, pop, modern classical and ballads.All include accompanied and acapella music.
