To promote and improve agricultural and horticulture for the public benefit within a 15 mile radius of Great Gransden Church in Huntingdonshire. The Society aims to promote agriculture and horticulture in all its branches and to encourage skill and industry in all its trades, crafts and professions connected with it

The object of the charity is to help relieve sickness and distress caused by diseases of the breast in Hertfordshire. To this end it has aquired specialist equipment to be placed in and developed a volunteer group at the new Breast Cancer Unit at Welwyn Garden City and instigated a support group to offer advice to beneficiaries and raise awareness of the need for better facilities.

We organise social activities and fund-raising events for both adults and children at the school. We raise funds to provide extra equipment and resources to enrich and improve the facilities available to the children of St Mary's School, 'extras' that would not normally be possible within the school budget.

From HM Land Registry December 1980 section 2 "The Trust Property" shall be held upon trust for a recreation ground for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Essendon in the County of Hertfordshire in such manner as the committee of management from time to time shall think fit.

The purpose of the Association (the Purposes) is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by: Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school . The charity is independent of the school and trustees have discretion over how funds are spent.

The object of the CIO is to advance the education of children of St John's Church of England Primary School, Watford in particular by:a) Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the schoolb) Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

We are a school charity who raise funds through events at the school throughout the school year, the raised funds go to help provide the school with extra educational support and supplies

The charity was first formed by conveyance on the 28th January 1920 to provide a facility for those members of the village who had served during the First World War. Over the subsequent years the building has been re-built and renovated and is now used to provide facilities for various community groups in and around the village of Aldbury in Hertfordshire.

Promoting the relief of homeless and roofless persons within the United Kingdom, in particular providing support for Osborne House, a hostel for the homeless, and providing assistance to those in need in the United Kingdom in particular to those persons living within the Cheshunt Deanery.

Maintenance of the Church fabric, specifically, this year, modernisation of the church, including provision of toilets, construction of meeting room, repair of outer wall (damp prevention), grass cutting, hall hire and advertisements.

To advance the education of the pubic in general by providing information in all aspects of the transport heritage, vehicles and artefacts relating to bus and coach operation by the former United Counties Bus Company and other bus/coach companies in the Great Ouse Valley area.

Fundraising and social events for pupils and parents of Holy Family School.

Provide space and facilities for village and other local clubs and organisations to meet and persue their many and various interests.

The activities of the CIO are:To promote and further the craft of beekeeping within the County of Hertfordshire.To promote the importance of bees in the environment within the public domain in the County of Hertfordshire and the surrounding area.

Provision of village hall and open space facilities for of all residents of Furneux Pelham, for the purpose of meetings, parties and general charitable and village activities.

Education of young girls aged 5 - 25
