Alstrom Syndrome Europe is a network of medical and scientific professionals from across the EU working to educate and share information and promote research into the many complex aspects of the ultra rare disease Alstrom Syndrome. During the year we raised a further £250 and made financial awards to two students, one studying for an MSc Micropalaeontology at the University of Birmingham, and one on a one week long specific course about Ostracods in Jena, Germany. The latter was unable to attend due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, so the grant will roll over

ARKEN is an independent not for profit charity founded to promote the study of archaeological remains through the exchange of archaeological knowledge. We provide specialist services and volunteer opportunities.

100 cameras are given to participants with lived experience of homelessness. They take photos of the city they live in. The emphasis is on learning the skill of photography and having fun. All participants are invited to join a weekly photography mentoring group to learn more skills with digital cameras. A calendar with the winning photos ispublished and sold to the public online and in markets.

The Chris Shoesmith Global Foundation helps both backpackers and their families, we do this by giving honest help and advice as to any dangers that can be encountered whilst travelling. We also assist backpackers and their families should something go wrong such as; muggings, loss of any possessions, missing persons abroad and also bereavements.

The principal object of the charity is to support Charities and Organisations that assist people who have sufferedfrom the lack of justice, fairness , freedom and equal opportunities.
