The mission of the Northern Cleft Foundation is to provide corrective cleft surgery and post operative care to economically and socially disadvantaged children in the areas where we work overseas. Our team of experts in this field also aim to disseminate their knowledge and skills to local medical personnel in order to leave a lasting legacy and change lives for future generations.

We aim mainly to support small charity groups in the Borough of Barnet with projects to help poorer people, the homeless, young carers, women who need shelter and more. Generally we help people in need.

We are working to take many of these children off the streets and giving them a home, education and a new beginning in life, away from the abuse that many have suffered since childhood, we believe that all children should have a chance to go to school, we believe this is one step away from poverty, instead of work.

We promote concerts in the UK with repertoire from composers from the Americas, sponsor young players interested in learning this repertoire, restore music still in manuscript form to facilitate performance and produce recordings and film of performances and educational content.
