The primary objective of the Charity is to support The Sharp Memorial School for the Blind, Rajpur, Dehra Dun, Uttarakhand, India.

The Tubules Foundation advances education for the public benefit in the least developed countries by building and equipping schools and using technology for educational support. Our first project is to build a library at a school in Voi, Kenya.

The object of the Baas Educational Trust UK is the advancement of education of underprivileged children in in rural Haryana, India. This is achieved by raising funds in the UK and using these funds to support the work of the Baas Educational Trust India, which runs an English-medium school based in Gairatpur Baas, serving the villages of Baas, Gairatpur Baas and Pandala.

To promote and protect the good mental and physical health of people residing in Leicestershire, the surrounding areas and outside the UK through the provision of workshops, talks, seminars and advice on promoting healthy lifestyles.To promote the education of children and young people living in Leicestershire, the surrounding areas and outside UK by the provision of workshops and talks.

Raising money for Poor, Vulnerable and Disabled Children.

We work with small children based charities and organisations in the countries listed supporting child education and welfare. We also support linked causes which include disadvantaged women. Funds are raised through supporters raising minimum donation to join a trip to the project they are supporting.

INCOME IS SUBSTANTIALLY DERIVED FROM DONATIONS OF READERS OF DOMINIQUE LAPIERRE'S BOOKS, VISITORS TO THE CITY OF JOY WEBSITE OR THROUGH PERSONAL CONTACT, WITH OCCASIONAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS. THE CHARITY SERVES AS A CONDUIT FOR MONEY DONATED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND SENT TO CENTRES IN INDIA.

TO FURTHER GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION OR CARE AND SUPPORTING AND PROVIDING GRANTS TO CHARITIES AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS OR PARTIES HAVING CHARITABLE OBJECTS.

The objects of the Foundation are to alleviate poverty, to advance education, to relieve sickness and to promote health and to preserve and protect the natural environment at home and abroad. As a grant making charity, the Constitution also provides for general charitable purposes for Public Benefit.

We work with children and young people,elderly and members of the general public in the context of our charitable objects.We provide Christian services for the general public.We also support many missionary groups in other parts of the world that share our beliefs and objects.

THE CHARITY WILL UNDERTAKE ACTIVITIES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF PEOPLE IN THE UK AND IN VERY DEPRIVED COUNTRIES WORLDWIDE; THOSE IN EXTREMELY HIGH POVERTY AND AS SUCH WILL ASSIST GLOBAL COMMUNITIES IN SUCH CHARITABLE WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT

The prevention or relief of poverty in the United Kingdom, and elsewhere in the world by providing grants, items and goods to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.2. To advance the education of children in Ladakh, North West India whose parents are not able to support the cost of their education and social needs by providing sponsorship and financial assistance.

The charity have earmarked a plot of land measuring 1,100sq metres in New Delhi and as accommodated 220 Rohingya refugees there. This is known as Darul Hijrat. Another similar project has been established in Bahraich. The charity will be building the Sir Syed Coaching & Guidance Centre for 'Civil Services' building complex in Delhi to accommodate and coach 500 fellows.

The charity supports local and international charitable objectives. This includes: support to international disasters and emergencies, eg. tsunamis, earthquakes: general humanitarian support, eg. distribution of medical equipment in the third world; support to local hospices, hospitals and disabled institutions and support to needy individuals.

The IAFSS encourages research into, and the application of, science and engineering to prevent and mitigate the adverse effects of fires and provides a forum for sharing and disseminating this knowledge. IAFSS offers valuable resources to members, including free access to our official journal, Fire Safety Journal, and to past symposium proceedings.
