Meet once month generally at Dersingham Village Centre on 3rd Friday of each month.Two or three outing a year by coach to outstanding gardens - again on 3rd Friday of the month.Speakers - visit and give talks on various activities to do with gardening.Our own Members Flower Show annually.Christmas Meal in December month.Talks given by our own Chairperson and Garden Advisor.

Provides a hall to the general public for them to hold their clubs and organisations.Runs fund raising events to pay for the up keep of the hall.

To promote social inclusion for people particularly but not exclusively men aged 18 or over, within Downham Market and the surrounding area, through the provision of facilities in which they can meet jointly or individually to undertake creative, physical or recreational activities, learn or pass on skills and knowledge and support each other socially.

Holding and raising funds for the Restoration, preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement, beautification and reconstruction of the Church of SS Peter & Paul at Salle in the Diocese of Norwich and the County of Norfolk and of the monuments, fixtures, fittings, stained glass, furniture, ornaments and chattels in the Church and of the churchyard belonging to the Church.

The trustees have just completed the leasing of the area known locally as 'The Chalk Pit'(3 acres of land -a disused Chalk pit. This will release them of the public liability insurance and provide an annual income so that the aims of the Charity can be carried outThe Ringstead United Charities has now merged with the Great Ringstead Allotment Charity thus broadening the scope of the Charity

To maintain, preserve and improve the fabric and furnishing of East Harling Parish Church

The charity started in the 1800's to support widows, living in the village of Topcroft, from poverty and help in sickness.

To educate the public in the art of brass band music and to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said art.To assist such charitable institutions and charitable purposes as shall from time to time be determined.

Provision and running of 5 Almshouses

Rental income from land owned in Cranworth, Southburgh and Letton is used to alleviate financial hardship by providing benefit in the form of solid fuel or cash. This is paid to eligible householders in these villages on a low income, regardless of age, but mindful of the current situation in that many people of retirement age have limited means.

To fund recreational activities.

The aim of the charity is to provide for children with cancer and their families gifts, special holidays, parties etc. in order to help create happy memories. The charity will assist with the purchase of equipment for a child with cancer in order to help make their life easier. In the sad case where a child dies we will assist with the funeral costs and/or thereafter with the cost of a headstone.

Wash Sailability provides the facilities and personnel to give access to sailing for people over the age of 7 with no upper age limit who have any form or severity of disability Full training is provided so that all members are able to sail unassisted if they wish to, and opportunities for further training to higher levels is encouraged.

FUND RAISING FOR CHURCH BUILDING

Hana's Gift provide funding for headstones/memorials to bereaved parents in Norfolk & Suffolk who sadly lose a child from 20 weeks gestation in pregnancy up to 5 years old. We also offer emotional support and give memory boxes and keepsakes to families we help financially.

The Trustees manage a small amount of land originally awarded to the villagers of both Wortwell and Alburgh at the time of the enclosures in 1802. These days the small amount of profit gained from this land is split between the two villages and is used to provide a small Christmas gift to the elderly of the village.

Support the elderly and school age children of the village

Make grants and donations to Masonic and none Masonic organisations

The Briningham Village Hall is established as a registered charity for the management of the Hall for use by inhabitants of Briningham, for holding entertainments or giving lectures, for public or private meetings, or such other purposes as the Trustees may agree.

To give grants to schools within the parish of Redenhall with Harleston to assist with the teaching of reading, writing and arithmatics.

To manage a Reading Room and Village Hall for the inhabitants of Gressenhall without distinction of political or religious opinions including use for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation.

Sporting, Recreational & Social Activities for the Blind & Visually Impaired.

We raise money, though community events and donation requests, to be used for the benefit of all children at Thurlton Primary School. We donate contributions towards things such as school trips, leavers gifts, classroom and outdoor resources and other items as requested and agreed with the school.
