Provides, support, activities and signposting for people with brain injuries, and their families who reside in the Tyneside area.

The main activities of the District are to provide support to Scout Groups within the District, enabling them to give a balanced programme to their members and to supplement the Groups' programmes with major activities such as camps, Gang Show, competitions and a swimming club.

Reviewing local planning proposals and submitting views. Attending consultation meetings and public hearings where appropriate.Presenting slide shows to interested parties.Arranging visits to places of historical and/or environmental interest.Publishing a quarterly journal "City and County"Campaigning as deemed necessary to protect landscape and heritage

Soul Food Spaces promotes physical, mental and spiritual well-being through the creation of spaces and settings where people can come together and share food and talk honestly about aspects of their lives as a means of finding acceptance, connection, meaning and community.

We work with LGBTQ plus people seeking asylum and those who have been granted leave to remain but are unsettled. Based in Newcastle, we cover the North East region. We provide social opportunities where members can meet safely and enjoy each other's company. We work one-to-one with each member helping to provide detailed case information.

Joseph Cowen Lifelong Learning Centre (JCLLC) aims to deliver and promote adult education in the north-east of England. The Newcastle Bach Choir holds 3 or 4 public concerts annually, one of which is always features the works of JS Bach. It also aims to perform works by twentieth century British composers on a regular basis. In addition, the choir engages in activities (workshops, outreach, partnerships with other choirs) to further its musical objectives.

Our current policy is to support young people or voluntary organisations working on their behalf.We seek opportunities where a small grant by us will offset disadvantage and improve future life chances.Grants which help attract other funding will be particularly favoured.Our normal grant range will be in the range of £100 - £3000.

REGIONAL ORAL HISTORY CENTRERECORD PEOPLE'S MEMORIES/LIFE STORIES TO PRESERVE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS

To support BAME refugees and asylum seekers (mainly from Sudan, Syria, Kuwait, Iran, etc) and their wives with young children who are mainly economically inactive, unemployed or short-term unemployed.

The Society offers grants to families to prevent or relieve poverty where children and young people are in need, hardship or distress - to enable those children to achieve their potential and have the prospect of becoming useful in the world. Priority is given to children with no active parent or a mother only. Preference is given to children with family connections to the New Church.

Provide a wide range of accessible and affordable activities for autistic people and those with related conditions and their families within the local community

To demonstrate and publicly present the Truth as set forth in the Bible and interpreted by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science in her book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures".

Real Lives: Real Choices supports adults with learning disabilities throughout County Durham and the north east of England in achieving their aspirations and goals through the provision of support, advice, information, training and learning opportunities

North Tyneside Coalition of Disabled People is commissioned to assist with capacity building within the disabled community. They also provide a support mechanism to ensure that disability issues are included at every level within statutory agency structures within North Tyneside. This includes policy development, accessibility, as well as information and service provision.

WE CONTINUE TO PROVIDE MUSICAL SHOWS AND CONCERTS WITHIN NORTH TYNESIDE

Helping develop child-focused rehabilitation programme, health education programme (including AIDS awareness, and diabetes), Christian education programme and income generating projects in Lesotho; developing educational projects for schools and raising awareness and support of initiatives in Durham diocese; fostering closer spiritual links between Anglican church in Lesotho and Durham

The object of the Trust is the payment of the income from the Trust Fund arising each year to such local charities (by which is meant charities operating within Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and Co Durham) as the Trustees in their absolute discretion from time to time think fit.
