We support vulnerable people by offering a place of care and refuge, a listening ear, companionship and direct practical help. We provide alcohol, drug and relationship counselling and supply furniture, clothing and food parcels to those in need. We plan to implement a youth programme and a range of directed programmes around independent life skills, employability, sport and positive self-esteem.

To encourage the preservation and display public transport vehicles from the North East of England.

The premises are used by:-A Pre-School Play Group, Theatrical Society, Ballet Classes for ages 4 to Adult, Mixed Badminton, Ladies Badminton, Modern Dance Classes, Young People's Modern Dance Classes, Tea Dances, Old Time Dancing, Theatre Dance Classes and Scottish Country Dancing, Pilates, Fitness Sessions, Strength & Balance and Aerobics for the over 50's (NHS Project).

We operate Daverson Hall, Open to the community to hire in order to advance community cohesion.The venue is used as a polling station. As well this the premises are used by :- Fitness Groups, Weight Management and lifestyle groups, Child development, Martial Arts, Community Socialising groups. The Charity is also raising money for the provision of Defibrillators for the locality.

To support the development, administrative management and operational management of Sustainable Community Enterprises across North East England.

Rescues and rehabilitates sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs. Takes in casualties from Northumberland in the North to Durham in the South.

We will rescue abandoned, lost and unwanted ferrets from within Sunderland and South Tyneside.We will rehabilitate and care for these ferrets until they are able to be rehomed.We will carry out activities to find new homes for the ferrets in rescue and provide backup support for thelifetime of the ferret.We will promote neutering of pet ferrets to reduce the number of unwanted litters.

We give grants to adults taking part-time education courses in the arts and humanities in the North-East of England. Grants can be for fees, transport, books and materials, or other expenses such as child care.

The fund assists serving and retired officers and their partners in times of need. As well as providing financial support by way of grants or interest free loans to those suffering hardship, we also cover out-of-pocket expenses incurred in using convalescent homes which provide a range of therapies to assist in the rehabilitation of officers.

The support of maritime heritage including conservation, restoration and construction when appropriate.

NCBF is an annual regional event held each November to promote the love of reading and books to children, parents/carers and teachers by facilitating author visits to schools,libraries and other regional venues.

To provide transport facilities in the North East for people who have special need of such facilities because they are elderly,poor or disables, people with young chinldren or those liviv-ng in isolated areas where there are no adequite public transport facilities.

To assist cadets in the North East of England from disadvantaged backgrounds wishing to undertake adventure, sporting and leadership activities which will help them develop their life skills, mature and reach their true potentials, so that they can become useful members of society.

WE PROVIDE A WARM SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE COMMUNITY TO MEET AND HOLD VARIOUS ACTIVITIES. RENT ROOMS OUT TO VARIOUS GROUPS SUCH AS HEALTH ORIENTATED GROUPS, I.E. YOGA, PILATES TAI CHI AND ZOMBA. ART AND CRAFT GROUPS INCLUDING PROGGY MAT MAKING, CALLIGRAPHY, QUILT MAKING AND 4 ART GROUPS. IRISH DANCE CLASS AND BALLET AND TAP DANCE CLASSES. W.I AND SOCIALS . HIRE OUT ROOMS FOR FUNCTIONS

Distributions are in general applied to supporting charities that either operate or run specific projects in the North East that support children, the physically or mentally disabled and the disadvantaged.

We are an independent Christian church. We operate christian religious services on Sundays and also use our building for weekday events for our church community including music rehearsals, prayer meetings, childrens and young peoples activities and social gatherings.

The Lions Club of Morpeth engage in a wide range of activities in order to raise funds throughout the year. Examples of this are Sponsored Swimming events, Fishing Competitions, raffles, fundraising evenings, fireworks collection, Christmas event for elderly and disadvantaged. These events are organised by committees of Lions, and time is freely given. The Club mainly operates in SE Northumberland
