To provide a safe and well maintained Village Hall for use by the local community for a variety of purposes.

The aim of the Trust is to promote the education, in its widest sense, of young people under the age of 25. The young person or their parent must be a member or attender of a meeting of the Religious Society of Friends within the areas of Cumberland, Durham or Scotland General Meetings.

Subsidises educational visits and visits to the school by travelling theatre groups and sports coaches. Buys extras, e.g. books, for the school.

Provide fundraising and grants to school pupils for extra curricular activities.

Support for the care and maintenance of St Peter's Church, East Marton, and its ministry

Housing for the elderly

Our church is in the process of disbanding, and is no longer holding public services or operating a reading room open to the public. We are continuing at present with our donations to Christian Science nursing homes and local churches, and local charities. following Charity Commission guidelines on the disbursement of our funds.

Raising money for Yearsley Grove Primary School by holding, raffles, fairest, film nights, discos etc.
