Escrick HSA runs a range of activities and events which raise money to fund resources and activities identified by the school management which benefit the school's young people. The key events include raffles, discos, fetes, Mother and Father's Day gifts and a plant sale, all of which benefit the school's young people.

The charity supports several different ways of fundraising ,to enhance the childrens' experiences at Dacre Braithwaite school .This may involve fundraising for outdoor play equipment or for extra curricular activites for example a trip to the theatre.

PROVIDE SUPERVISED WALKS, LED BY TRAINED VOLUNTEER LEADERS, FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO IMPROVE AND THEN MAINTAIN THEIR HEALTH IN A SOCIAL SETTING

Advance religion in accordance with the doctrines of the Church of England by providing short religious education courses, so that those attending might review their Christian commitment and practice Christian principles in everyday life, thus helping others to discover and achieve a Christian way of life. Providing ongoing support to members and encouraging them to be active in their parishes.

Supporting the pupils, staff and their families through a wide variety of activities.

We use our community minibus to help socially isolated older people in this very rural part of the North York Moors. Public transport is sparse and not easily accessible. We run outings to lunches, shopping, cinemas, theatres, concerts, coffee mornings, garden centres and other places of interest. In addition we have weekly swimming trips. These people are thus able to be part of the community.
