Our purpose is to provide entertainment and an opportunity for socialising in a village where there is no pub, shop or other place for villagers to meet up. We have a structured programme of events and add to these throughout the year as we feel the village would like. These include a weekly soup gathering, harvest supper, christmas party, summer feast, quiz nights and others

To raise money for the fabric of St Helens Church, Escrick.

To relieve, either generally or individually, elderly (the interpretation of which expression shall be in the absolute discretion of the Trustees) persons resident in the Parish of Northallerton North Yorkshire who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress.

Educating the public in the history and heritage of the inland waterways of Yorkshire by:- a) preserving vessels and artifacts which illustrate and explain the history and heritage of the waterways; b) providing the public with access to the waterways for the purpose of education; and c) undertaking research into the waterways and publishing the results for the public benefit.

TO RELIEF OF THE POOR AND NEEDY OR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE CLUB SHALL IN DULY CONSTITUTED MEETINGS FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT.THIS TO BE DONE BY THE SUCCESSFUL DISTRIBUTION OF CASH RESOURCES, RAISED FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC, AND BY THE PROVISION OF MANPOWER TO LOCAL COMMUNITY PROJECTS AND ORGANISATIONS.

The object of the charity is to help and educate young people in the district of Harrogate through leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved.

The Trustees meet twice a year to distribute funds to support needy in local area.

The main aim of the Emma Maltby Memorial Fund is to raise funds to employ Learning Mentors at the Teenage Cancer Trust Unit in St James's Hospital in Leeds. The Learning Mentors will assist patients to ensure that they can continue their education whilst undergoing treatment for cancer.

Rountons Village Hall provides a venue for meetings, events, private parties, lectures and classes, for education, social welfare, recreation and leisure time occupation for the benefit residents of East and West Rounton and adjoining parishes. The village hall is a Grade II listed Arts & Crafts building.

We support, promote and provide facilities, opportunities and equipment for the artistic development of the students of the York Music Centre, to provide information regarding the programme to the parents and guardians of the students and eligible prospective students and to collaborate with the head of the programme and the local government and other performing arts groups in the area.

We aim to advance the Christian religion in Upper Wharfedale by providing young people with educational, cultural, social, welfare and spiritual support and guidance within a Christian framework. We are currently recruiting for a Children, Youth and Families Lead.

The village hall is the only public building available to the village and is open to all local and neighbouring residents. There are regular social, quiz and local history evenings, coffee mornings, craft and chat and eat and stay warm and the Parish Council, NY Council and local groups also use. Annual events include craft fair and Christmas events and a number of small private events.

The Village Hall provides facilities for use by the community for a range of purposes including a variety of organised Social Events, Live Performances, Table Tennis, Digital Skills Cybercafe, and Keep Fit. It also hosts regular meetings of the Parish Council and Catterick Young Farmers Club. It is available for private hire.

Provides community activities ie domino drives, fund raising events. A building for the use of local history groups, art groups and activities for young children.

Income derived from donations, live giving and grants is used for the maintenance of the building for religious activities, recreation and education

Six meditation meetings held every month in the UK. One meditation retreat held annually in Yorkshire and other retreats by request.
