Headingley Orphanage Foundation is empowered `to make grants to organizations with charitable objects serving the benefit of needy children and young persons up to the age of 21 years, and more particularly those within the geographical area known as Yorkshire, as the Trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit.`

Donations to local charities

To provide advice, support to deafblind individuals residing in Yorkshire. This includes children and adults and their families.The charity aims to promote awareness and learning in the area of deafblindness to those families living in Yorkshire.

Friends of Kirkby Fleetham CE Primary School enhance the education of pupils in school by developing effective relationships with the pupils, staff, parents and others associated with the school.Fundraising, volunteering, engaging in activities, providing facilities, experiences and equipment in support of school and the advancement of the pupils education.

To raise funds and financially support children attending Northallerton Music Centre to enable opportunities for musical development and performance.

To support local organisations, societies and community based events in the Weeton Parish

We raise funds, and build community, for Haxby Road Primary Academy. We do this through organising and running 10-12 events per year, which are all held on site at the school.

The education of the public in general and more specifically the residents of and visitors to the County of North Yorkshire, particularly the area known as the Yorkshire Dales in the subjects of archaeology, history, geology and the natural environment in order to promote a better understanding and management of that local heritage.

Provision of grants to alleviate specific need in general domestic situations within Newton Kyme, Tadcaster & Bramham/Oglethorpe parishes.

To promote religious education

To promote horticulture and floriculture for the benefit of the public generally and in particular those who live in or visit Skipton by the provision of floral displays, shrubs and landscapes in places visible to the public and by the promotion of gardening competitions, conservation of the environment and community involvement.

Burley Bridge Association was formed in 1996. It aims to build a footbridge over the River Wharfe at Burley-in-Wharfedale on the site of the existing stepping stones, that will benefit the public by providing safe year round access on foot between Burley and the Nidderdale AONB. In addition, to promote an increase in public engagement with healthy outdoor recreation.

Weekly club meetings both educational and social

Provides grants to people in need in the parishes of Tollerton, Alne, Aldwark, Youlton, Flawith and Tholthorpe. Also makes grants to local organisations supporting those in need within these parishes.

The Charity exists to promote the conservation and enhancement of the open access space in the town of Harrogate known as the Pine Woods, and designated as an Asset of Community Value. To this end, funds are raised and projects undertaken in partnership with the local authority.
