Loaves of bread to the children at Burford Primary School once a year to keep the tradition of The Thomas Collier Charity alive. In 1665 Thomas Collier left a legacy to buy 12 one-penny loaves each week to be distributed to the poor children after Sunday church service. Records show this continued until the turn of the 20th century. Now it is an annual event as a reminder of poverty in the past.

Grendon Friends Trust assists in the provision of artistic, creative and craft facilities for the Grendon Therapeutic Community Prison to enable prisoners to try out new skills and have successful experiences, complementary to their therapy.

We are a support group for men and women who have been diagnosed with bladder cancer and, importantly, also for their carers and partners. Support provided includes the opportunity to talk to other patients and clinicians in social environment about their treatment choices and life after bladder cancer. We raise funds in support of the Royal Berkshire Hospital urology department.

Bledington Music Festival promotes three evening classical concerts each June. They are held in St Leonard's Church, Bledington. The artists performing also give workshops or mini concerts to the children of the village Primary School during the afternoon of their forthcoming concert.

The Banbury Bluecoat Foundation issues school clothing vouchers for children of parents on income support or the equivalent. It also makes grants to Church of England Sunday schools and to other educational activities in the town.
