THE MEETING PLACE CAFE open at 20 High Street Watlington , on Wednesday and Thursday mornings for light refreshment. Limited advice & friendly chat. Everyone welcome. Private Chiropodist visits the cafe twice per month, (booking required ).

The Deanery enables the Anglican parish churches in and around Wantage and Grove to collaborate on charitable activities within the Deanery area. The activities must be consistent with Christian principles and Deanery priorities. They may include community building, environmental care, supporting children, young people and schools, and specific mission activities.

TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT BY MANUFACTURING, INSTALLING AND MAINTAINING NEST BOXES FOR OWLS, OTHER BIRDS AND MAMMALS. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

The objects of the charity are to provide support for those in need in and around the County of Buckinghamshire. Funds are raised by donations, gift aid and investment income.

The Chiltern Edge Orchestral Society meet every Tuesday evening during term time at the Sonning Common Primary School in Sonning Common, Oxfordshire. We are a group of amateurs (no audition required) who meet to play orchestral music under the direction of FaFa Jin. We study a wide range of orchestral work in a friendly, non-threatening environment, benefitting also from our professional leader.

We hold monthy meetings with speakers and have different group activities to further the education and interests of our members who are retired or semi-retired. We also have outings to local places of interest to further our local knowledge.

To promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by: (a) the preservation, conservation and the protection of the environment

The charity is a PTA and works in very close cooperation with the staff and management at Ladygrove Park Primary School.Our PTA operates from the school premises, with the permission and support of our head teacher.Activities include: Christmas and Summer Fetes, school discos, movie nights etc.

Raising funds towards the costing of the school year activities.

Provision and maintenance of a Village Hall and Charney Field. Charney Field is a playing field for use by the community and it includes an area of play equipment for use by children.

CHARITABLE DONATIONS, GIVEN TO CHARITIES PRODOMINANTLY IN THE MIDLANDS. PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO SMALL CHARITIES WITH SPECIFIC PROJECTS.

The Oxford Music Festival is an annual four day musical event open to the public. It is educational in character and is dedicated to the encouragement and promotion of active participation in music, especially among young people. Professional adjudicators comment on the playing and singing of participants with a view to encouraging interest and improving standards.

Sarah Nowell's Educational Foundation exists to provide assistance for the education of young people,in the parishes of Blackbird Leys, Cowley, Iffley & Littlemore, Oxford, where there is a financial need, funds going to the individual, or, more often, to schools, playschemes, or organisations such as the Sea Scoutsor Guides.

EDUCATION OF CHILDREN

TO MAKE FINANCIAL OR MATERIAL GRANTS TO MEMBERS AND TO FORMER MEMBERS OF THE MARK MASONIC PROVINCE OF OXFORDSHIRE WHO ARE IN CIRCUMSTANCES OF NEED. SUCH GRANTS ALSO EXTEND TO THEIR WIVES, WIDOWS, WIDOWED MOTHERS, SPINSTER SISTERS, AND CHILDREN. DONATIONS MAY ALSO BE MADE TO A NUMBER OF NATIONWIDE ESTABLISHED MASONIC CHARITIES.

Provide a building for all community activities

Responsibility for the running of a listed building used partly as a public library and as the village historial archive and to provide grants for the education of those under the age of 25years in need of assistance.
