Provides facility for use of the local community and people from the surrounding area for recreational use and entertainment purposes

The hall is for the use of the inhabitants of Great Rollright and the neighbourhood largely for meetings and forms of recreation. It remains popular as a venue for private functions and meetings: the W. I., a Thursday Club, Yoga, Old Time Dancing, the local church and the Parish Council organisations all use it regularly. There are community entertainment evenings and a monthly Village market.

We provide buildings, facilities and open spaces for sport, meetings and recreation, for children/young people/general public.

To advance the education of the pupils of Middle Barton Primary School by administering funds generated by donations, events organised by the charity, or successful grant applications.

PROMOTING PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF CHORAL MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY PRESENTING PUBLIC CHORAL CONCERTS.

Offers advice, help and support to Societies/Clubs who are interested in all aspects of gardening and horticulture.Trains novice Judges and provides on going training for existing Judges of Horticultural Shows.Provides grants to Schools and others running Gardening Projects.Gives prizes for School Gardening Competitions.

Open Door is a weekly drop-in for refugees and asylum seekers in East Oxford. Around a hundred people use our service, with a weekly attendance of between 35-45. We provide a friendly, informal setting for people to meet, relax and have hot meal. We help with basic advice and signposting and enable our users to meet workers from other agencies. We work with the other local refugee groups.

Summary of main activitiesRegular fund-raising activities throughout the school year have included: Xmas Grotto, Easter Trail, Discos, Film Nights, Non Uniform days, Sports Day refreshments, Ice Lolly Fridays. Activities were for the benefit of school pupils only.Purchase of items on school staff 'wish-list' included: Phonics package, craft materials, treats for Xmas, Easter and Yr 6 Leavers.

The Oxford Buddhist Society was set up to preserve Theravada Buddhist teachings and practices for the sake of human well-being. In fact, it throws light on the Three Cornerstones in Buddhist monasticism, viz., Pariyatti (learning and understanding of doctrinal teachings), Patipatti (keeping good moral conduct and behaviour), and Pativedha (penetration and attainment of Nibbana).

Staging of/hosting regular social events for residents of the village of Taynton with a view to creating a facility for all to meet informally and raise funds for the on-going maintenance and repair of this primary social centre.

Scouting provides adventure and opportunities for young people aged 6-25. We believe in helping our Members fulfill their potential by working in teams, taking responsibility, learning by doing and thinking for themselves. We're working to make Scouting available to all and we're passionate about what we do.

Makes grants to individuals or other charitable organisations

We help to enhance child and parent relationships within the school and town communities by strengthening inclusivity and increasing family engagement. Something which is vital to the families of Chipping Norton and the surrounding villages. Not only does the PTA help communicate with families to make them feel part of a community but we also fundraise to support the school.

Amateur dramatics Group

The Charity provides grants to local charities particularly those charities relating to children

Raise money via events, fetes, sponsorship to provide the school with needed equipment (i.e. whiteboards, playground equipment, books etc)

Indoor and outdoor fun and training activities for young people and children as part of the Scout Association.

Fund raising by membership subscriptions, donations, social events and the receipt of legacies. Working through a Volunteer Committee to consider funding Bids from Hospital service providers for specialist equipment which will augment the volume of treatments available to the local community and enhance the patient experience.

To advance the education for the public benefit by providing and assisting in the provision of teaching in all aspects of the Hungarian culture and language for people (with Hungarian background or interest in the Hungarian culture or language) living inOxford and the surrounding areas.

Maintenance of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell Recreation Field

Beekeeping, collecting swarms for the public when reported. Educating the public and recruiting new beekeepers by attending local shows.

Grants to registered charities only. No grants to individuals.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the public benefit by supporting the provision of infrastructure and facilities required for playing the sports of Squash and Squash 57 in the county of Oxfordshire.

Provision of the hall to local groups and individuals. Users include the local history society, welfare and fitness groups and local families for birthday and anniversary parties.
