Hymettus undertakes research and related activities in furtherance of the conservation of bees, wasps, ants and other insects in the British Isles. Practical advice is provided to the general public, other conservation bodies and land managers through efficient dissemination of research results using both the printed page and electronic downloads.

JoLt was set up in 1983 and is run on a totally voluntary basis. Every 2 years, JoLt organises expeditions all over the world for groups of young people (from 14 to 21 years) with significant disadvantages (they are disabled or ill, or have been neglected or abused). These are tiring, taxing but hugely rewarding journeys. Each young person is expected to fundraise; donations make up the balance.

The trustees have resolved to concentrate their objects on awarding scholarships to individuals who successfully apply to study at INSEAD Business School. Scholarships will be awarded principally to British citizens who on application are working in a UK bank or financial institution, and who, in the view of the Scholarship Committee will strive to attain the highest level of executive management.

SOS Kit Aid is an award winning charity that collects second hand/new rugby kit from UK schools, clubs, kit manufacturers and recycles it to disadvantaged youngsters in over 60 countries. Since 2001 we have sent 8 million pounds of kit for 250,000 disadvantaged youngsters.Sponsored mainly by World Rugby.We have also saved over 1500 tonnes CO2 emissions too by recycling.

To advance education by providing training and educational facilities relating to the creation,ownership and management of property and buildings relating to shopping centres and by developing and instructing public opinion about their uses

The charity organises courses for histopathologists in the diagnosis of renal, bladder, penile and testicular disease. In addition the charity organises an annual meeting with visiting speakers to familiarise diagnosticians with developments and advances in these subjects so they can remain up to date.
