The preservation & protection of good mental health through; raising awareness of suicide; Urging those suffering to speak up & ask for help; Supporting all with poor mental health, especially young people, and especially where this can be done through outdoor activities; and assisting in the provision of education to increase awareness & knowledge of the issues.

Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team operates under the umbrella of the Peak District Mountain Rescue Organisation. It works under the control of local police forces to search and assist the police; in the Peak District, in wild & remote areas, in urban areas and in other areas when called upon to do so. All team members are volunteers. The team relies entirely on fundraising and donations.

Support for RAF Widows and Widowers

King Lear Arts runs activities to encourage active participation in the arts, particularly focused on older people in the UK. Our flagship activity is the King Lear Prizes arts competition, which takes entries from amateurs across the country.

To advance the education of the public in the principles of The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). To advance religion and to promote the relief of sickness and suffering based on the premise of the healing power of prayer, meditation and counselling in accordance with the said principles of The Religious Society of Friends.

Research into Deaf issues.

To foster esprit de corps among former members of the Royal Hampshire Regiment enabling them to keep in touch with Regimental affairs and with each other. To assist Comrades to obtain suitable employment and to relieve them and/or their dependents, widows or children who are in need, hardship or distress.To produce a report upon the activities and deaths of comrades.

Main activities include teaching, training, encouraging, equipping, empowering and activating Christians to make a difference across Merseyside, UK and beyond. This is done through the Big PUSH gatherings, Ministry Schools, Conferences and interaction with different spheres. We work in partnership with local organisations and across the nations.

General charitable purposes, especially supporting charities in which the Gladstone family have an interest. Individuals and expeditions are not supported.

Advancement of animal welfare; (2) Specifically, assisting homeless, or abandoned, or otherwise in need dogs in poor health, mistreated or otherwise at risk to: i) Better health ii) Be found safe and appropriate homes throughout the UK and Europe iii) Long term monitoring of their care

TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROVIDING MEMORY BOX TO PARENTS AND FAMILIES WHO HAVE WHO HAVE LOST A CHILD WHETHER THROUGH NEONATAL DEATH, STILLBIRTH, MISCARRIAGE OR MEDICAL TERMINATION OR WHO ARE PREGNANT WITH A CHILD WITH A LIFE LIMITING CONDITION AND BY RAISING AWARENESS OF THE NEURO TUBE DEFECT, ANENCEPHALY.

The activities of the CIO are to advance the education of the public, and school aged children in the protection and improvement of the environment through free educational resources and support. The CIO will also support litter-picking groups and community-led initiatives through resources, networking and promotion to further environmental work they are doing.

With our growing band of helpers we are now able to re-home dogs to most parts of the country. We use private Boarding Kennels, and have a Dog Psychologist and a gundog trainer to help with the difficult. All dogs with health problems are given appropriate veterinary treatment. Dogs with behavioural problems are referred to our trainers. During this, our first year 201 have been rehomed.

Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

Amphibian and Reptile Groups of UK (ARG UK) is committed to the conservation of native amphibians and reptiles and their natural environment by supporting the development of a network of independent volunteer amphibian and reptile groups (ARGs)

Alumni Association which holds meetings for previous pupils and staff of Abbots Bromley School, re-union meetings around the country and enables ex pupils and ex staff to keep in touch with one another. It helps past pupils and staff who are experiencing financial or any other difficulties.

UK Time's Up is a charity which works to (a) promote equality and diversity for the public benefit by working for the elimination of discrimination in the workplace (b) raise awareness about equality and diversity (c) cultivate a sense of favour and equality and diversity in such ways as the trustees think fit.

The JMK Trust exists to find and support talented theatre directors around the UK through our annual JMK Young Director Award, National Programme and Assistant Director Bursaries. It presents the annual The James Menzies-Kitchin Young Director Award (The JMK Award) to one outstanding candidate following an open application process identified emerging theatre talent in the UK.

The SPA organises conferences, training events and training materials for student journalists.

The provision of Chaplaincy to Police Officers, Police Staff and their families to assist maintain and promote their holistic wellbeing. This in turn contributes to an efficient workforce better able and equipped to serve the public.Also providing a network of advice relating to moral, ethical & religious matters and building and facilitating links with communities and the Police.

The Trust makes grants and awards to promote the understanding of classical Greek language and and culture and the study of the purposes and work of the United Nations.

The Trustees have the power to apply the income and capital of the Trust for such charitable purposes as the Trustees shall from time to time in their absolute discretion determine.Unsolicited applications for support will not be considered by the Trustees.

Provision and maintainance of a trained and equipped rescue team to provide assistance to the emergency services and communities during adverse weather, accident or other incident / event.

To organise scientific meetings with the specific objective of bringing together active research workers in the several disciplines that contribute to the aims of the Society.To foster and support those aspects of the work of other charitable organisations and learned societies that are relevant to the aim of the Society.
