POSTGRADUATE EDUCATION BOTH ABROAD AND IN THE UK

PHC continues the ideas of the Peckham Experiment, a famous study into health, where community of families discovered how to live a fuller life. Children and couples flourished and habits of healthy living developed. We have a unique stock of books and audiovisual materials that have inspired innovators worldwide.

AUHS offer courses and insurance for Minister?s, Healers and Mediums; together with Affiliation for Spiritualist Churches/Groups in the UK only with individual individual memberships. Very low Fees cover running costs only as we are none profit making and all Trustees are unpaid.

1)To advance the religion of Islam by enlightening others mainly through distributing copies of the Quran (including translations to other languages). 2)By distributing the Manzoom Tarjuman Quran, a direct translation of the Quran in the language Urdu in poetry style. It is not simply a translation of the Quran, but is written in a poetry format without adding certain words to translate the Quran.

The HEAD Trust is a registered charity and is dedicated to the advancement of public education through the appreciation of art, craft and design. In 2014-15 a grant of ?5000 was given to the Sorrell Foundation to support the production of a video 'CreativeJourney' that provides art, design and media careers information for young people.

To advance education for the public benefit among students studying at universities in Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Eire, as well as the British overseas territories, crown dependencies, Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands in particular by supporting students who are involved in the operation of student television stations by offering vocational and practical training and skills

The Charity provides financial grants to those in need to meet the cost of cannabis based medicinal products (CBMPs) prescribed by a named consultant on the GMC special register and in accordance with clinical practice recommendations.

Providing scholarships for Rose Bruford College (RBC) students of outstanding ability studying on theatre and performance-related undergraduate programmes. Also providing scholarships for RBC graduates undertaking postgraduate studies in these specific subject areas either in the UK or abroad, or for graduates of any other institution undertaking postgraduate studies at Rose Bruford College.

This is a very small charity with limited funds. It usually only makes grants to other charities already known to the trustees. Unsolicited requests for funds will almost certainly be rejected and result in wasted postage costs.

Assistance with financial grants for the relief of poverty of members of the Philips Electronics Pensioners Association, their spouses, their widows or widowers and their dependent children who are in necessitous circumstances.

The Cariad Blanket Project supports people through craft and creativity in two different ways. Firstly, by sending free care packages to parents of a child born within the last two years living in the UK, to provide a reminder of comfort and support. Secondly, by providing free craft and creative taster workshops to anyone who wishes to learn to use for their own benefit in their daily life.

To provide support for the education and training of music librarians in the UK and Ireland and encourage research into music librarianship, bibliography and related disciplines.

The FDF promotes and provides educational initiatives and forums to help parents develop their capacities as educators of their children who in turn benefit from a loving family environment that fosters and inculcates freedom with responsibility and basic human virtues. The main method used for achieving this is through running courses based on the case study method.

The sharing of music by the composer Richard Stoker (1938-2021), for performing and recording, for educational purposes, and for academic research.

GFAJ supports development and growth of agricultural journalism, helping to improve agricultural development and public understanding of food and agricultural systems throughout the world. We provide financial assistance, education, training, support and advice; and organise activities including conferences, workshops, tours and seminars to educate journalists, communicators and media workers.

To provide a support network for widowed fathers and their children, offering financial and psychological support throughout a carefully selected network.Full structured support will be offered from the early stages of bereavement, family development, financial assistance where applicable. Family care units for working fathers and one to on telephone support.

We award grants of up to £500 to projects which further the promotion of English traditional / folk music (particularly within - but not exclusively confined to - the context of community choirs). Projects need to be accessible to all and choirs/groups preferably need to be open access (ie. non-auditioning). Applications are accepted year round (there are no deadlines).

The charity works primarily but not exclusively in the UK and Africa to advance education, relieve poverty and to provide or assist in the provision of recreational facilities for children and young people with the object of improving their conditions of life. Occasional donations are also made to other charities. It does not give grants to students seeking funding for study abroad or gap years.

The British Ski and Snowboard National Foundation invests in the future of British snowsports. We support projects which give young people opportunities to get involved in skiing and snowboarding, as well as giving grants to young athletes.

Promotion of positive attitudes, customs and practices towards gender balance, diversity and inclusion in the employment and participcation of people who have been under represented in term of gender and or ethnicity.Providing advice, mentoring and support to people who have been under represented in terms of gender and or ethnicity interested in pursuing a career in the UK aviation industry.
