We are a small grant making charitable trust. We welcome applications from young people for grants that fulfil our charitable purpose:To advance in life and relieve needs by making grants to persons aged 25 and under that will develop their skills, capacities and capabilities in the performing arts and enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.

The David Canter Memorial Fund offers awards to give financial assistance to those working in the crafts. The fund is open to those who have finished their formal training and are working full-time or part-time but need money for specific projects, eg setting up a workshop, buying equipment, educational work or for research and travel. Awards are made every other year.

Key fields of concern include active travel, air pollution, climate change , transport safety etc

We do everything possible to ensure that all people with SMA have access to effective treatments, health care and social support. We raise awareness of the disease, offer support to those affected and their near and dear ones, promote and support scientific research into causes and treatments, and provide necessary equipment and living aids.

Through children we educate families on accident prevention in all areas especially road safety.We operate from 113 Vibart Road, B26 2AB and utilise Masamune Dojo for classes plus work with police, schools and other educational centres.
