Provision of Grants (through direct application), to support the members of the "GLE", and their dependents (Wife, Partner, or Children) who are in need. This includes the following types of Grant: Annuities, Illness, Disability, Education, support for Convalescence, and ad-hoc or emergency grants.

The objects of the BBA are, for the public benefit, the relief of those suffering from burn injuries by:1 Disseminating knowledge and stimulating prevention in the field of burns2 Promoting education in all aspects of burn care;3 Promoting and supporting research into scientific, clinical and societal aspects of burn injury. 4Promoting standards in the delivery of burn care

The purpose of the charity is to promote, assist and extend the science and study of Analytical Chemistry and of all questions relating to the analysis, nature and composition of natural and manufactured materials for the benefit of the public.

The charity's main objective remains the control of feral cats, by limiting their numbers throught neutering and returning to site, by providing veterinary care where necessary and by finding homes for kittens and tame stray cats. Each year the charity manages to neuter more than 1000 cats, home more than 1000 cats and provide veterinary care, other than neutering, for some 750 cats.

War Memorials Trust works for the protection and conservation of war memorials in the UK. The charity provides an advisory service to anyone with a war memorial enquiry or concern as well as administering grants schemes which support repair and conservation works. It also provides educational material to engage young people with our war memorial heritage. Charity 1062255 was merged with this one.

Disseminating the knowledge which promotes and actualises physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, balance and well-being; in particular the techniques of Sahaja Yoga meditation and the teachings of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. Fostering music, arts and crafts from different cultures. Promoting the idea and practice of tolerant and spiritually-centred living.

MONTHLY EVENTS FOR PRISONERS IN EVERTHORPE, WOLDS & PRISONS. OUR BIBLE COLLEGE RUNS TWO 15 WEEK RESIDENTIAL SEMESTERS PER YEAR. STUDENTS SERVE IN THE COMMUNITY IN VARIOUS WAYS INCLUDING PRISON VISITING.

Muslim Relief conducts many charitable projects globally. These range from community projects, supporting homeless persons, providing emergency food & shelter, medical aid, organising mass feedings, supporting orphans & widows, educational advancement, water relief, promoting community cohesion, social youth work, raising awareness pertaining to issues relating to the youth & vulnerable persons.

Crying Out Loud produces, commissions and programmes contemporary dance, circus, music and performance for audiences of all ages, working with UK and international artists both in the UK and abroad. Everything we do is educational in the broadest aspect of the term.

PiPA promotes equality, diversity and inclusion in the performing arts by preventing and discouraging discrimination. PiPA does this by providing information, advice, guidance and conducting research into the challenges faced by carers and parents in the sector. PiPA aims to promote and advance better working practices across the performing arts.

Trauma CareÔÇÖ is a registered charity whose principal remit is 2 deliver education & training across the whole spectrum of injuries. Trauma is the most common cause of death in patients in the first 4 decades of life. For each death there are 2-3 people with significant permanent injuries.

HELOA's main purpose is to support prospective students to access higher education, thereby advancing education in all subjects offered at degree level. HELOA provides training and development opportunities to its higher education institution members and, through its events and newsletter, acts as a network for sharing best practice.

The Buddy Bag Foundation provides relief of material hardship and need amongst children, young people and parents who are fleeing domestic abuse for the public benefit in England and Wales, primarily, but not exclusively, by providing items of basic necessity and comfort.

ASCN UK (2013) provides an educational forum for nurses delivering specialist health-care to individuals with a Colorectal / Urological stoma. This is delivered through an Annual Conference, Project Working Groups, Study Days and Web- Page which supports sharing clinical expertise and development of evidence-based practice.Educational grants are available for support with education and research.

N.B. We are not currently accepting unsolicited requests for funding. The Abstract Foundation makes grants to organisations and individuals, with a particular focus on projects which support young people and help them to improve their opportunities and quality of life.

The charity activities involve the advancement of education and the performing arts for the benefits of the public, including awarding scholarships to individuals studying drama in their final year of study at a university, college or institution of higher or further education. The scholarship awards to the successful applicants are paid directly to the education institution for study fees only.
