Jericho House Production's object is to advance education for the public benefit by the promotion of the arts, in particular but not exclusively the art of drama. Our three main strands of work are: the production and staging of theatre productions; involving disadvantaged groups in theatre and theatre production; researching and disseminating information about arts and about arts and science.

Is responsible for the managemrnt of the 393 building

The Trust operates in the Castlegate area of the city of Sheffield. It works with interested partners including the Council to secure restoration and re-use of historic buildings, whether listed or otherwise, and furthers public education about the history and significance of the area by offering events like guided walks and talks to explain the importance of the area.

At present the Vine currently operates a primary activity stream (Friday night Youth Drop-In) designed to work with young people in the community and provide opportunities for social and educational development as well as providing a safe place for young people to grow and express themselves. The Vine also works with other organisations and provides ad-hoc and short term structured activities.

We are a user-led mental health organisation producing a quarterly mental health magazine with news, information and articles about mental health issues and services; it highlights good practice. The magazine is distributed free of charge to mental health service users, carers and professionals. It is received by all mental health service providers in Sheffield. We also maintain a website.
