TO RELIEVE THE SICKNESS OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM PERMANENT DISORDERS OR DISABILITY OF THE MINDIN THE SOMERSET AREA

Provides sessional pre-school activities and education for children between the ages of 0 years and 5 years.

We provide sporting facilities (mainly football) to young people in the village of Forton and surrounding areas. At present we have many fundraising events to enable us to build new changing facilities for Forton Rangers football club and also a village hall in which to hold villahe events

To help needy organisations and individual people

We are based at the 50 acre award winning Woodland Education Centre in South West England. We provide education about the natural world for all ages and abilities. We have an extensive website which attracts up to 1.5 million hits/month. A large number of habitats have been restored at the Centre and this work is ongoing.

Providing Students under the age of 25 with money for educational /religious purposes.Also provide money for local Primary School & Church for religious /recreational activities.

We have provided support and instruction to all members who have, or have had breast, cancer by teaching them fly fishing to promote healing post operations. We now have groups in, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, Avon, Pennines, Dorset and Gloucestershire.

To help to restore, preserve, repair, maintain , improve and beautify the church of St. Mary's, Bruton.

Sherlock Charitable Trust is donating to other Charities which aim to help people and to sections of society which need help.

Needs of parishioners are considered at meetings three times a year, or by telephone contact whenever problems occur. Rental for Deane Helplines and Group Insurance premium for volunteer drivers in the Corfe Lifts Scheme are paid. Vouchers are given at Christmas to parishioners in need. Contributions towards mowing costs of the recreation ground are made annually.
