SHINE works in the London Borough of Southwark providing university student mentors to local primary school children. Mentors support children in the promotion of both academic and pastoral development.

We operate a day centre for the those in need which also includes food parcels. We help to rehabilitate ex-offenders. We provide training and education to support young people. We arrange awareness events in the community's we serve.

STEP is a borough-wide partnership linking the theatre community and education and youth sector in the London Borough of Southwark. STEP aims to equalise, extend and deepen the theatre and drama experience of all young people living in Southwark through the development of strategic partnerships between schools, youth and community groups, theatres and performing arts organisations.

Friends of Diabetes International is currently running a Healthy Eating and Living options Project (HEALOP). This project will encourage and support African and Caribbean people living in Southwark to adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles, particularly weights to prevent or reduce the incident of type 2 diabetes. It is funded by Awards for All- The national Lottery Fund.

PEMBROKE HOUSE IS A COMMUNITY CENTRE BASED IN WALWORTH, SOUTH LONDON. IT RUNS A RANGE OF PROJECTS, INCLUDING A LUNCH CLUB FOR OLDER PEOPLE; A MUSIC ACADEMY FOR CHILDREN AND A GARDENING FOR WELLBEING GROUP. We are an American Football team for young people between the ages of 15 and 18 years. The purpose of the club is to bring young people together to learn and play American Football. In doing this they would learn self discipline, find a positive outlet for aggression and break down territorial barriers which contribute to youth violence.
