Smiles Trust provides free dental care to underserved communities through medical camps, offering check-ups, treatments, and oral health education. In the UK, we work to improve dental health through school programs, community awareness, and support for vulnerable groups. Economic turmoil and hounding out the President of Sari Lanka by rioters has left the swimming project in a state of suspension. Our swimmers and teachers are safe but electricity and imported chemicals for pools are a luxurious impossibility. With financial insecurity in the country all around, the Project will require a restart from scratch. Meantime we can only encourage from a distance.
