Please note classification 305 no longer applies as we have permission to sell the building & site from the charity commission and it is not sold yet, so we still own the property and it is boarded up. 102 still applies as we meet in another hall.

Marden village hall offers a location for villagers and other local village residents to hold social gatherings and meetings. Educational events and arts and culture are also facilitated.The charity strives to maintain the fabric of the building to a high standard whilst offering a range of events to ensure the hall is popular and used by the community.

To maintain Warminster Museum and provide monthly lectures at Warminster Library on topics relating to history.

Raising funds to supplement the school curriculum with extra activities and resources

Educating women to provide an effective role in the community, to expand their horizons and to develop and pass on important skills.

To maintain and manage the village hall so that it can be used for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the quality of life for the inhabitants of Compton Chamberlayne.

To relieve poverty amongst persons in Trowbridge and surrounding area who are homeless or otherwise vulnerable by offering emergency living provision.

to provide a community transport service for the inhabitants of Malmesbury and its district who are in need of such service because of age, sickness, disability (mental or physical), poverty or because of a lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger services.

Grants usually between £50 and £500 and never in cash to any resident of the civil parishes of Tisbury and West Tisbury for help relieve need, hardship or distress. For example help with debts, heating, clothes, replacement of broken domestic equipment. Applications by phone, email, website or letter direct from applicant or referral form a welfare agency.

Relief of need in the Wardour, Tisbury, Donhead St Andrew, Donhead St Mary, Semley and Ansty area of South Wiltshire.

Youth Club for the boys and girls aged 11 to 18 in the Ludgershall area.

3 sessions per week children/adults in the West Swindon area to motivate a better and confident future of a mixed age range and of different ethnic backgrounds, to encourage development/explore and build a better understanding and socialising.We provide informal advice work on various government & community issues, participate in presentations and liaise with wider community/services.

Support of village halls in Charlcutt and the surrounding district. Also charitable purposes for the general benefit of Charlcutt and the surrounding district.
