Fund raising events for School

The charity raises money from a number of events. Staff donate a -ú1 per month into the monthly draw for a chance to win a monthly monetary prize. Other events include a dinner dance, golf charity days, business entreprise wards, tombolas, dress down days plus many more.

Our focus is on furthering the education of the children of Bishops Waltham Junior School and enhancing the provision of facilities available to them. We seek to engage and forge links with the local community and host events which help to raise funds for the children of the school.

The PTA builds the school community, supports the school, provides a voice for parents and raises funds for St John's School, Clifton. Funds are raised via (1) Events such as Christmas and May Fairs (2) Gift aid giving and (3) Local business support, and are used for eg, new playground and ICT equipment and refurbishment of the school library.

The hall provides facilities for a variety of village organisations and events such as Scouts, Horticultural Society, Karate and private functions such as parties and fundraising evenings.

We raise money for resources, activities and capital items for children that attend Clapgate Primary School and the surrounding community of Belle Isle.

The Charity organises events & activities in order to raise funds to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the local education authority).
