Area of operation - Northwest Bristol and South Gloucestershire.We meet monthly at Shirehampton Golf Club in Bristol.We are a group of men and women over the age of 21, who like to raise money for charitywhilst having fun in doing so, our main fundraiser is a Carol Float with which we tour thestreets in the area.

Friends of Penshurst Church aims to raise funds to maintain, repair, protect, restore, improve and reconstruct the fabric of St John the BaptistÔÇÖs Church, Penshurst, including its monuments, fixtures, fittings, furniture, stained glass or chattels and its churchyard for the benefit of the public.

The village hall provides first class facilities at an affordable cost to local organisations, clubs and is home to 30 local groups. It is also used for private functions, family parties, children's parties etc. The committee raises funds to keep hiring fees down by fund raising which includes jumble sales, car boot & table top sales and antiques fairs.

A NUMBER OF GROUPS MEET REGULARLY, USUALLY WEEKLY, AND THE HALL IS AVAILABLE FOR HIRE ON A ONE OFF BASIS. A LICENSED BAR IS OPEN 3-5 EVENINGS A WEEK.A NUMBER OF EVENTS ARE ORGANISED BY THE TRUSTEES TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE HALL.

The Lions Club of Morpeth engage in a wide range of activities in order to raise funds throughout the year. Examples of this are Sponsored Swimming events, Fishing Competitions, raffles, fundraising evenings, fireworks collection, Christmas event for elderly and disadvantaged. We secure donations by presenting to companies and community organisations across the UK, fundraising events, individuals donations and securing Gift Aid relief on eligible donations. This enables us to provide grants to "The Walk Academy" in Kenya for the purposes of advancement of education, health and shelter.

Major fund raising event 'The Belvoir Challenge', a 13 or 26 milewalk or run for participants through the Vale of Belvoir with a fee to enter the event.
