Parent Teacher Association primarily involved in fundraising for the school

The PTA has three main objectives:1. To bring parents and staff together through informal social and fund raising activities2. To raise money for the school and provide additional equipment, facilities or other educational items and services that would not be available from normal sources of funding3. To raise money to support PTA selected charities throughout the year

The organisation undertakes social and fundraising events with the intention of:- 1. Promoting extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school. 2. Supporting the school in the educational advancement of the pupils attending the school. 3. Providing and assisting in the provision of equipment and facilities not normally provided by LEA.

We raise funds and donate to selected cancer projects in South Yorkshire, 8 societies, organisations and hospitals were beneficiaries of the fund. We raise money through the resale of second hand goods. All monies taken(except running costs) in the shop are donated. All staff are unpaid volunteers. Year ending 31 September 2013, ?66500 was shared between the 8 beneficiaries.

To provide emotional support to people by Telephone, SMS, Email or face to face. Operate A listener scheme in Swansea Prison and work in Partnership with other Organisations to provide emotional support. Fund raise to support the running of a Branch and to operate a Charity Shop.

Fundraise in the UK for overseas projects to assist victims of poverty and disaster.

To raise funds for the management and promotion of an institution known as The Unique Home in India. The aim of that institution is to provide moral, social, cultural and economic uplift of orphaned/abandoned children without distinction of caste, creed or religion.

We are raising money to enable us to commission a memorial in Norfolk to the 97 British soldiers massacred at Le Paradis on 27 May 1940, to maintain said memorial and to support other memorials to the Le Paradis Massacre as deemed appropriate by the Trustees.

Our aim was to build on the charitable work carried out the by the late Kerry Key, through fundraising and sponsorship. Over the past year we have held various events. These events have raised awareness of disease and health conditions affecting people suffering with cancer and other illnesses.

RAISING FUNDS FOR SCHOOL PROJECTS

Raising funds for distribution to local charities, good caused and individuals. Fundraising activities include organising Carmarthen's Bonfire Night fireworks display, hosting a charitable golf day and various non-specific events.

The 353 Trust had 3 major fund raising events in the accounting period. A virtual black tie memorial dinner in February, the R4H Rugby tournament and gin day and Conrad's Ride, a motorcycle event attended by 200 people. Trustee Tony Lewis gave several talks, aimed at inspiring adventurous people to undertake sponsored events to raising money for The 353 Trust.

BREAD raises funds and makes grants to projects run by the Diocese of Morogoro in Tanzania in four main ways: Berega Hospital (serving a wide surrounding area), Berega Orphanage, Berega Institute of Health Sciences (BIHeS) and Bishop Chitemo Primary and Secondary Schools. We also support various village related projects and elective visits by international volunteers.

The SCA hosts various fundraising activities for the purpose of raising funds for the benefit of the pupils at St Christophers The Hall, enhancing their education and also fostering relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.

The activites of the Blackpool Ice Drome Charities Association is to organise annual fund raising events, our main event being the production of our annual Childrens Christmas Ice Show. All monies raised go to supporting local children's charities and associations,other worthwhile causes and to promote and develop ice skating in the community.

Malmesbury Carnival Committee organises a programme of music, sports cultural and children's events, mostly during August and ending in a traditional carnival procession, to raise funds for local good causes in the Malmesbury area.

We raise money for the" Wings Appeal "which helps the RAF family ,Veterans and their dependants.Our facilities allow veterans to meet is a safe place and meet up with other veterans.

The choir practises and performs choral music and raises money for charities by singing at concerts and other such events mainly in SE Wales.

Our centre is self-financing and managed by volunteers. We provide a pleasant venue for local residents and groups. Activities include art, ladies choir, W.I. and day centre for the elderly (run by volunteers), also yoga and pilates for adults plus karate classes for children.
