Thornton & Allerton Community Association manage South Square Centre, a series of Grade II listed workers cottages. The charity runs and a range of arts, community, heritage and wellbeing activities. Rents from small emerging businesses and artists' studios and a team of volunteers underpin the organisation. Wet also apply for grants to run outreach programmes, internships and community events.

Hakeford Woods operates a Forest School in a North Devon woodland. The woods are managed to enable a variety of activities for people of all ages including Forest School sessions for children, Wellbeing sessions for adults, family sessions, skills based courses and volunteering opportunities.The site is managed for a high degree of biodiversity.

SAMM is an independent voluntary organisation. We offer help and support to those bereaved as a result of murder or manslaughter. Our volunteers have been similarly bereaved and can share what this feels like. Paws Animal Sanctuary is in Findon West Sussex and we care for neglected, unwanted or abandoned animals. The Sanctuary is run solely by volunteers. We care for, treat, and rehabilitate stray, unwanted and abandoned domestic pets.

Our mission is to provide social networks that offer friendship and hospitality. Our main aim is to minimise social isolation and loneliness. We do this by connecting people, providing nourishing lunches, and offering a valuable village hub where people can access information and support from our community support service.
