Childcare Charities

We run a Pre-School 3 days a week, term time, plus a Baby & Toddler group once a week at the Village Hall. The group provides educational and social activities for young children plus an opportunity for local families to meet and socialise in our rural area. We are inspected by Ofsted and supported by the West Berkshire Early Years team. We are a member of the Early Years Alliance.

To provide out of school child care for primary school age children age 4-11 years within Welsh medium. Daily care, recreation, education. To advance the education and training of the person in provision of same. Clwb Llawen y Llys is open to all members of the public to provide out of school childcare, However a primary objective is to provide this within the Welsh medium.

The project has 4 main areas of work: Supporting residents to get improvements to the housing, environment, amenities and services for the estate. Capacity Building through: informal I.T., healthy living initiatives, garden loan equipment scheme, credit union, community events & monthly community newsletter. Sessional Pre-School

To provide an outdoor grass area for outdoor activities, a young childrens play area and a purpose built building for all indoor activities for parishioners and the general public visiting Hickling.

We help women from ethnic minorities, particularly those who speak English as a second language. We provide community, support and opportunities through:1) English teaching: free, women-only classes with creche.2) Well-being activities: drama, Zumba, craft, gardening, parties.3) Resources: clothing, baby, kitchen items etc, also food delivery.4) A wide range of one-to-one support.

Rockingham playgroup is a pre-school that serve the local community in Elephant and castle area. We provide care and safeguard children who attend our setting, try and secure the foundation of their learning.

Cylch Meithrin Nelson provide pre-school early years education through the medium of Welsh to children aged 2 - 4 years. Funding is through fees paid by the parents, which helps to cover the wages of the staff. The Meithrin also benefits from grants provided by the local authority and also fundraising through various means.

Proclamation of the Christian gospel in the area of Kings Heath, Birmingham and further afield through:the holding of church services, Sunday school work, parent and toddler group, support of missionary work in the UK and overseas through prayer and financial support of missionary partners.

PRE - SCHOOL LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT FROM YRS 2 TO 5

To promote the advancement and improvement of general education in relation to all aspects of the art of music education for all in various communities around the United Kingdom.

We are a rural setting providing full day care for children ages 2-11 in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. We are in a purpose built building within the school grounds and we provide wrap around care for the school. At our last ofsted which was 2007 we received an outstanding for the quality and standards of the nursery education.

Village Playing Field. Sports include football, cricket, school games and competitions, basket ball and a skate board ramp. It also includes a childrens playground.

Sunday - AM &PM services (creche facilities). Tue - Bible studies/prayer meetings/manse fellowship/DVD evenings. Fri - monthly Tea From 2pm, Sat - fellowship walks in seasonLadies Coffee and Men's Film events and annual outings. We hold a Community Bonfire & Fireworks evening, and a Community Outdoor Carols event, Hambrook Probos meetings, and the church is used for polling as needed.

Regular public worship, prayer and bible study open to all. A range of activities designed for positive community impact: including Baby and Toddler groups "Little Acorns" and regular activities for children and young people.

Village Hall comprising: Main hall with stage and lighting; this can accommodate 100 persons seated at tables or 150 without. Committee room with access to own toilet and kitchenette. Fully equipped kitchen. Storage room.Disabled access and toilet which include baby changing facilities.Utilised for numerous local educational and recreational purposes including Play Group and Youth Club,

To allow preschool aged children to discover and explore freely, to combine learning with play. Providing opportunities to learn, we help our children expand their knowledge and increase their vocabulary, learning alphabet, numbers and information about the everyday environment, the world, and how things work. The charity is established to enhance the development and education of children under the school statutory age.

Cylch Meithrin Pwll Coch will provide preschool education and care to children aged 3 years old through the medium of Welsh. Our aim will be to provide every child and family the opportunity to learn new experiences through the medium of Welsh offering them a sound foundation on their journey to a bilingual education and life. This will be achieved through various activities that promote children'

Education and care for children aged 6 months - 5 years

Advice & Support.(2) Empowering asylum-seeking and refugee women to take platforms to speak directly about their experiences (3) To promote volunteering as an opportunity for all young people whatever their personal circumstances. (4)Training for employment and relief from poverty and distress.(5) ESOL, English for Speakers of Other Languages (6) After School Club to Support refugee children.

The Charity provides necessary facilities for the daily care, recreation and education of children during out of school hours and during shcool holidays.To ensure the best provision of care is given to children annual training and education is provided to the individuals delivering the care.
